Hi All,

First thanks for reading my post. My wife and I are traveling to Iceland. If any of you have knowledge of the knife laws in Iceland, I would appreciate any insights you might have. I am one of those people who feel partially dressed if they don't have a pocket knife handy.

i am headed to alaska this summer. my flight there lands in vancouver b.c. and i am told i will have to pass through canadian customs before boarding another plane to alaska. i usually edc a small sak and a spyderco tasman salt. my plan was to put these in the shaving kit carried in my checked bag ...

i cut the crap out of my hand when my yojimbo opened up in my pocket. the blade detent on that design needed some work in my opinion.

chicago need a regime change. i live in s.c. here the police have no issues with my carrying a spyderhawk or chinook. every time i see a car from the n.e. or some other liberal place i think "here is one more liberal who will try to ruin s.c." i know this is judgmental but it is how i feel.

My red dyed Spyderhawk, because that's the one that goes to work with me.

a big plus one on the spyderhawk. i live in s.c. it gets really hot and humid here. that h1 is really great when sweat is a way of life. the hawkbill is great for opening packaging, slicing up vegetables and cleaning fish ...

I clip a Tasman Salt Hawkbill onto my waistband for when I go running. I bought it specifically to resist rusting from my sweat. It has screws and not pins. I wish they made the Spyderhawk in another color than yellow.

i wonder if the yellow color is a result of considering the sheeple factor ...

my yojimbo self opened tip up in my right front pocket. not so good when i tried to pull it out of my pocket. the tips on those things pierce REALLY well.

as stated above stay away from hawk bills. also i have personal experience with peoples reactions to a yojimbo or chinook. they are typically not positive. anything you have read about people mistaking the yojimbo for a box cutter is not consistent with my experiences. i can assure that snapping ...

some folks keep the packaging. this is especially true for collectors. the blister packs don't look very nice after opening.

this ought to be a great knife for cleaning small game.

thats a great knife ( would be almost legal in my country), but the price where I live , is 190 e - 269 $ , a little bit prohibitive .
I like all small knifes from :spyder: . waiting for the ss version to come out soon.

i have way too many knives. that said, this looks like a must have. checking the drug store now.
