Spyderco has produced thousands of marketing assets over the past 40+ years. We’ve learned that many of our customers have kept old catalogs, old ads, brochures, and flyers. We would love to be able to include them in our historical archive, and we’re...
There has been some discussion and fair amount of frustration on the question of Spyderco choosing not to ship internal parts. The subject is far more complicated than it might appear on the surface. Some of the questions...
I’d like to thank all of you for the great information on the issue mentioned. My primary purpose for the thread was more to raise awareness that it is a problem and hope that just the greater awareness would help...

This forum has some of the most kindhearted people that I have ever met . So many of you are always willing to help someone in need. It is for that reason that I felt I had to post this.
Recently there was someone who posted about challenges they were...
I keep reading over and over about the food prep done with folding knives, even some YT channels put it up. Not that there would be something wrong about it, but I am just surprised how often it is mentioned.
None of my family members or friends carry a knife (as I have done since I was a kid and received the first one from my grandfather -a small knife so used by him (he was a carpenter) that, after been sharpened for decades, it had lost a third of its...
Hello all - a newbie from the UK here. Please go easy on me!
I'm not sure if this is a good place to ask, but does anyone know when the next UKPK production run might go ahead? Especially the Heinnie Haynes special edition with the red G10 scales? Is...

I recently picked up a Chaparral after hearing so many good things about it. I've read many of Wartsteins posts raving about one of the thinnest Spyderco blades in a folder. The constant talk of the sub 2mm blades performance solidified my decision to buy...

The Urban is one of the greatest pocket knives ever, some think the light weight is the greatest. It is just the right size and the frn has just the right texture for city carry and use. Post your pictures. Let’s see them.

This is just a test.... beeeeeeppppp :p . No really just test fitting to find anything I missed. I did forget the wire clip cutout. The depth of the liner in the scale needs adjustment. This is straight off the printer. I figured to start with the Chap...
My Native Chief in Rex 45 arrived just hours ago. Before ordering I watched nearly all videos on YT and so I knew I was getting a large knife, but only holding it in hand - that thing is like a folding sword.

First I will just say that I know this knife has been long-awaited by folks who have been around here longer than me. My expectations were high and I am impressed! I will give my first impressions and it would be great to hear other folks experiences with...

Deacon had a good idea about the casual bombshells Sal drops in seemingly random threads: feel free to add them to this thread so we can see them in all there glory together:
entries get older until mid page two then back to recent
I'm not very good at showing my thanks, and I'm honestly not even sure what I've done to receive such an awesome gift, but it's one that I'll cherish. I've been meaning to pick up a SE Shaman anyway so this will do nicely :D
This may seem like a dumb question but I am wondering what all you millie/police guys are cutting where the long blade folders become helpful/preferred/needed????
I EDC a Delica or UKPK or a Sage 5 and for my needs I...

When I first saw the Rockjumper in the reveal I thought, big deal, it’s pretty much a wharnie Delica. Then I started reading all the rave review for this model. THEN, I got one for myself. This is hands down the smoothest Seki knife I have ever had, and...
Any guesses on what diameter rod it would take to grind serrations? I'm looking to buy some round diamond files to see if I can make serrations. I'm going to buy some butter knives or something cheap to practice on before I do anything stupid with my...
Less than two months away from the greatest knife show in the US and as always I’m curious what forumites I will get to chat with this year. I did see that Spyderco is once again on the vendor list so I’m very happy to see that.
First of all, the Spyder Edge is as much of a revolutionary concept as the opening hole and the pocket clip. Specifically, the Spyder Edge Ladybugs are the real deal. If you don't have one, get one. Or get two. The H1 Ladybug with the hawk bill blade,...
When the knife is in a proper cutting grip it's not a big problem, as the contouring and grip pattern do a good job locking it into your hand, but the super smooth finish on the untextured corners of the handles makes the knife feel really slippery when...

Hi Sal,
the Chief is a great design and actually the first knife in a long time that could challenge my beloved Enduras in their role most versatile EDC folder ever :)
What I personally still prefer in the Endura though: The FRN handle.
Just recently I've been going through my footlocker and I've been admiring some of my Old School/GoLDEN ERA models in my collection. As I've said so many times in the past that many of my favorite Spyderco models have been from the Old School models which...

Well, I feel like a little kid right now just waiting for Santa, in this case the Mail person. I am waiting on 3 Spydercos: a Delica super blue, Cat G10, and Pacific salt spyderedge. What's in the mail on your side of the woods?
The very first Spyderco folder that I bought that was designed by ERIC GLESSER was his Dodo model. And it was back in 2003 when Spydercoa put out the very first run of the Dodo model. The same week I got a PE Blue version and also an SE Black handled...
Ok so I think I have a problem  I can't stop buying Spydercos! :D I've been buying like one a week this past month. This can't be healthy can it? I mean you can't possibly run out of them right? It happened to Spyderco with the mules what if it...
I've been wanting a new knife, I'd had done all my research. Countless hours of ingesting reviews, looking for good prices, making sure this was the knife I wanted to spend my hard earned money on.
I found the spydiechef, in stock, at a local dealer....
I have 3 :spyder: folders in Cruwear, but the only 4V I have is my Province FB. I really like the ease of sharpening and toughness of Cruwear. Near stainlessness is also a plus. I'm wondering if it’s worth trying 4V in a folder, or is it not much...
