I think he should carry one of the knives made with steel from 9-11. A president could use the reminder.

Bring 3 jars with you on the trip. At the end of each day of sailing immerse your endura in a jar of fresh water and shake. Next immerse your knife in a jar of alcohol and shake. This will displace the water. Let the knife dry for about half and hour then immerse the knife in a jar of mineral oil ...

Could be stainless, not sure, the black finish is not like other spyderco clips. It is more like an anodizing rather than a coating. It does not scratch as easily as other clips such as the delica.

Is the GB clip as thick as the PM2 clip?
It seems as thick to me although I have not measured it. The para clip seems like it may be stainless steel though which may make it a little tougher.

Hi,
Was thinking of getting a few Gayle Bradley clips to swap out on the Paramilitary 2(currently have a Delica clip sitting on mine).
David
I tried this swap and while the holes are in the same position as the Para, the diameter of the holes is smaller. Be aware you will have to ream the holes ...

I edc one of the FFG ZDP endura. Nice knife that rides smaller in your pocket than it truly is. I will however be picking up one of the FFG ZDP delicas once they hit the market and it could replace the endura. Either way its FFG ZDP for me!

I am a Newb here on the Spydie forums and I don't want to seem ungrateful for the info we have already gotten, because that is the farthest thing from being. I was wondering if there was a vague estimate on whether the Para 2 is more likely to arrive late July-early August or mid to late August. I ...

No problem kbuzbee. I have been looking everywhere and that seems to be the best price I have seen so far.

Great looking mod there. What did you use to re-shape the tip? I recently reshaped the tip on my D4 to a finer point. Seems to work better for me now.
I used a grinder with a 60 grit 3M wheel. I finished it up on a 320 grit diamond stone to make it pretty. :D So far I am very happy with the modded ...
