I'm one of the few that actually found the original Paramilitary to be quite pleasing. I'll have to keep my eye out for clearances when it gets closer to the end of the month.

Me too, I still prefer the look of it to the new version. I have two of them and will get at least one more. I always liked the odd look of the Para :D

I'm not gonna lie, this is pretty disappointing. I'm with Mr. Blonde, I really hope we can get the sales up enough for interest in a spyderedge version

I'm with the majority that the new and improved Para 2 looks more aesthetically pleasing than the older version. It's funny how just a few extra mm of blade length can change the overall look of the Para 2. Stoked that it's coming out soon and definitly will buy this.

I don't understand that very well... Is the Spyderedge version discontinued completely or will there be Paramilitary 1's with Spyderedge still being sold?

The Spyderedge Para is the only Para I own.

I am a Newb here on the Spydie forums and I don't want to seem ungrateful for the info we have already gotten, because that is the farthest thing from being. I was wondering if there was a vague estimate on whether the Para 2 is more likely to arrive late July-early August or mid to late August. I only ask because I absolutely want to grab one the second they are available, so I want to keep funds ready. If it is gonna be mid to late August then I am good to go, but if it is gonna be late July/early August then I need to put a zip tie around my wallet and refuse to part with money for any reason until its here. Thanks for any information.

Do as I did and put your money down on a pre-order. That way you will have no temptation to use the funds elsewhere. ;)

Outstanding idea. I looked around and couldn't find a place to pre-order that took cash or even a down payment though. I did find a place to pre-order and you're charged when it ships. So at least I have that hanging around in the back of my mind. With any luck, I'll only have to hold out for 3 weeks or so. Cannot spend money, cannot spend money, cannot spend money......
