Please tell me you've never bought items on sale. Like I mentioned before, I know people that have gotten items for $0.00 or $0.01 from Amazon before because they needed to clear their stock. Would that be stealing too? Where is this line supposed to go? If I was to sell my Manix for a $1 and someon...

It's possible you guys will get your order, I know a guy that ordered a $800 Beta toolbox for $0. Yes, $0. Amazon honoured it and he did get it in the end. YMMV

You do realize you're asking whether to pick a Spyderco or an Al Mar on a Spyderco forum...results are probably biased.

Hey guys, I've been reading your posts, and am looking to buy an Automatic Seiko diver. I'm a woman who likes big watches, but gigantic ones aren't my thing (I'm a lefty and they get a bit uncomfortale. My biggest watch is a G-shock G-7710). I think I'm stuck between one of the 007s and a Monster, ...

Actually, it was around $200 for a full fixed blade...a ParaII only uses several inches.

I guess the problem is that someone plops down quite a bit of cash for something they feel will be perfect..then it isn't. High Expectations crash and buyers remorse sets in. I can see that. Myself, I buy working knives. My biggest complaint with Spyderco is that many higher ends one I have acquire...

Just to add something, a lot of you are thinking about this with the wrong mentality. You expect perfection in a production piece, which rarely ever happens. Spyderco's were meant to be used, not sitting in someones safe so it can be flipped at a higher cost.

My two cents.

I agree with most of the posts above....it is VERY hard to maintain a high-level of quality when you're mass producing knives, and many times in the past, Spyderco has done just that. $130 certainly isn't a lot of money, if it is, maybe you should stop buying knives and focus your priorities elsewhe...

It's a $130 PRODUCTION knife. $130 is NOTHING, considering others are 1K and above. If it affected FUNCTION then that'd be a problem, but this is purely an aesthetic issue.
