#1

Post by MountainManJim »

Just a quick note, I just got an email ... there will be a factory sale on the Nov. 20th. I didn't see any other posting about it after a quick scanning of the forum.

Wow they usually give a bigger notice than that. I'm sure all that can attend will have a blast.

I got an email too but I signed up at the SFO. I'm a little surprised that there hasn't been an official post yet. I plan on braving the cold and line, well worth it.

I'd like to go but I think it's cheaper to pay regular prices than travel a thousand miles or more to get to the sale.

Wow I'm glad I saw this, I had been looking for a post from TazKristi, wondering if they were going to have one this year. Still don't know that I will make it, since it will be a pretty long drive from Dallas. I'd have to take some vacation time to drive there, and the cost of gas, hmmmm, some people sure got GREAT deals last year though!

Drat, I was hoping you might still be willing to look for a few things for me this year. Ah well....

Last year I got there around 5:00 a.m. and was at the tail end of the first group. Dress warm.

I was already planning a trip 400 miles the other way for that weekend, so I doubt I'll be there.

What's the big draw to the factory outlet sale? Can you get good prices on all knives or just factory seconds?

Anybody form Dallas/Ft Worth going? I had my local guy bow out of attending the sale for us. I could use someone willing to buy a few items for me and my husband...please let me know.

My plans to go hit an unexpected problem. A woman I worked with many years ago when we were both at Citicorp had a strong romantic interest in me (no accounting for tastes). I forgot that she moved to Denver but my wife didn't.

So.... I'm not going.
Our reason is quite satisfied, in 999 cases out of every 1000 of us, if we can find a few arguments that will do to recite in case our credulity is criticized by someone else. Our faith is faith in someone else's faith, and in the greatest matters this is most the case.
