...a few more showing how discreet carry is possible with this modification.. That belt looks awfully familiar. Do you remember where you bought it? My Military sticks out of my back pocket about as much as that para3 seems to in your pic Yep,...I buy lots of belts at my local Salvation Army! Usual...

Re: Reality-Check please: Are our VG10 Knives slowly poisoning us?

I use a Pacific Salt H1 for food prep. I leave any VG10s I have on the counter for work lighting so I can save on electricity ;)

Re: People still like Benchmade?

I own a few, my favorite is their CQC7. It is just perfect for what it is. Can't remember exactly when I bought it, either late 1980s or early 1990s. Seems to me they started to try to be a design house and when they started going tip up only I lost interest. I recently bought a NOS Presidio auto an...

I have the P4 K390 and carry it when I'm not in the office. Turned out to be a pretty doggone nice piece of hardware. Congrats!

Guys, sorry but I couldn't understand from the discussion whether Rex 45 is laminated or lamination just came up in the discussion because of the comparison with HAP 40.

Conflating UK and Denmark with all of Europe is just ignorant. Do you really think NYC and California and Washington DC have laws that are so different from those in London? Denial and delusion

Re: New tidbits about next year's catalog (and discontinued list info)

I hope this means more BIG KNIVES. I do not work in an office, I don't live in europe, and a closed delica is smaller than my palm is wide. The lack of large folders has me looking at other companies for the first time this decade. What's Europe got to do with it? We bring OTF autos to the office a...

Re: Do you ever wish you only had 1 knife?

It's kinda like having only one pair of jeans or one pair of boots or one hound dog. I had a bunch of guns and carried only 2 of them regularly depending on where I was headed. Had a small assortment of knives but never carry anything but one regularly. Sometimes you'll be on a trip or hunt or whate...

Re: If you had to reduce your collection to three models...

If you had to reduce your collection to three models...which three would it be? 1. Pacific Salt SE. EDC folder. 2. Swick 3 with G10 scales & Kydex sheath. Urban fixed blade. 3. Aqua Salt, PE. Camping / hiking fixed blade. Those would cover all of my bases. What about you? This is too easy.. Millie,...

Re: The Military is greater than all other folders because...

I think some of the safest locks to close one-handed are the comp and cbbl locks. You can depress the lock bar or pull back on the cage and allow the blade to swing closed with your fingers 100% clear of the path of the blade the whole time! That said, the Military is excellent (as are back-l...

Re: The Military is greater than all other folders because...

I don't own a Spyderco that I can't open or close with one hand. Two fast one handed lockback losing methods: https://streamable.com/8yxc5 https://streamable.com/irn21 I concede it can be done, it just does not look safe to me. I'll try some of these ideas with my Pacific Salt and P4 and post back ...

Ok, I don't like the idea of flicking anything but a Zippo. I didn't think about trying that. Obviously it works but not for me. closing a backlock (flickless method) https://media.giphy.com/media/1j0LG5zQ7dNGvVEA/giphy.gif note: slowed for demonstration purposes but i can do it 5x faster Better bu...

Is this a joke? Almost all Spyderco’s are designed for one handed operation. Do you need us to show you how to use these things?
Perhaps
