I was talking to KW today and ...... they said they have shipped a few (very few) of these. They are arriving they said in small batches and as they come in they are shipping in the order they received our orders. Has anybody got theirs yet?

I had called to discuss something else but while I was ...

Interesting. I received both of mine and the grind goes all the way back just like every other Para2 that I own. I've seen many pictures of the orange Para2s with the grind not being completely full. This is the first Para2 I've ever seen like this. It's just odd that it's only showing up on the ...

I think I shall get one of the FB when it comes out. I lost my beloved Gerber Mark II with serrations that I carried on my webgear while in the army. It was in my truck and disappeared a few years ago. This would make a nice replacement. I have a UKPK and like CTS-BD1. Looking forward to this knife.

I think I may have misunderstood. I was thinking specifically about the orange para 2 going for around 200.00 on the forums. Asuming people bought them for aprox. $150.00 thats about a 18-20% profit depending on how it's shipped. Much ado about nothing. Sorry for my confusion.

That to me seems ...

SENTIMENTALLY, of course, guys on these forums get bent out of shape about the market effects of these secondary-market sellers. But what they're doing isn't morally culpable, unless you also reject most forms of speculation for profit.

Legal yes moral no. There are always karmic consequences ...

Never have, never will. Figured out many years ago that, at least for me, business and pleasure don't mix. Looking at something that had started out as an enjoyable pastime as a potential source of income quickly took all the fun out of it and never generated enough income to make up for that ...

I think when your the guy on the hook for $65,000 worth of pocket knives your prob. not to worried if someone buys 5, 10, or even 100. There are no guarantees in the game of business (well unless you're a huge multi-national corp. w/deep enough pockets to lobby for legislation eliminating your ...

I missed out when CS had these up for pre-order, they sold out rather quickly. But I did manage to snag one yesterday from BF. They're fetching quite a pretty penny. I think people have figured out that if you purchase two, sell the second one for double the purchase price, you are essentially ...

I like sharpening notches. I love my new orange PM2 which has about a mm or two at the ricasso that is not sharpened. I think I'll get that bit for my dremel and do this mod.

After reading his post over on BF, I kind of wish I had kept my original reply to FGF in this thread. Before I clicked "post", I edited out all the super harsh parts to try and be nice (and abide by Sal's shiny footprints philosophy), but sometimes people deserve a reality check...

Yes, the recent Para 2s seem to be getting better and better. Each of my last 3 has been nicer and smoother than the last.
The first couple needed some small adjustments, but judging by the blue M390, it seems they're perfecting building the Para 2.

There have been some really scary grinding ...

So, anyone have any experience with the UK Pen knife?

Can anyone tell me the advantages or disadvantages of the two blade designs?
