As soon as I got the booklet on the Warrior in the mail [ I bought the knife back in Dec.] I thought it would be a no brainer for Spyderco to bring out any previous versions of the Warrior. I for one, would snap up any version that comes out.

This a topic dear to my heart. I have about a dozen Spydercos including 3 fixed blades. I'd have a lot more folders if Spyderco made them a little bigger. I love the look of the Szabo folder! And the blade is ,if I read it right, 5" long! Spyderco usually saves me a lot of money by making folders smaller than I like but I'm going to have to get the Szabo! I wonder when it's coming out?

I've done exactly as my wife 'suggested' and have not bought a single knife so far this year. I'm anxiously waiting for the new folding Szabo but I guess that could take a while. I may buy the Police 3 in the near future. I find the 43/8 " blade very attractive.

W&W is the best knife store in Canada and the owner, Jay, is very conscientious. He is very much a one man show though ,so at times he may get a little overwhelmed by orders. However you can't go wrong dealing with him.

I also recently picked up the Rock Salt and I agree that it's a great knife. However Sixheads wanting a leather sheath for the Rock Salt is like a punch in the gut for me.
The Boltaren sheath and G-clip it comes with, allows you to carry the knife inside the waistband or in a front pocket anywhere ...

I'm glad to hear that there will be a sprint run of the original large Persian. I have to confess I haven't read all the postings on this thread but I'd also love to see a Spyderco Tomahawk. I'm not a camper so I would definitely prefer a hawk to a hatchet. I'm more of a reader than a poster but I had to contribute to this thread. I just purchased both the Warrior and the Rock Salt within the last 3 weeks and I strongly agree that they are both awesome knives.
