i carry a swisstool spirt, it fit my requirements better than anything else, but it too still has its shortcomings, im not big on the pinned construction, but it is very very solid. also it was by far the cheapest i looked at.

i think we have enough choices when it comes to CHOILS dont you think?

the only thing i would change, is to go from the straight spine on the blade to a drop point / hunter shape, like on a stretch or m'lark1.

nothing too special, 06 cannondale prophet 6 with bmx peddles, tru-avtiv hussefelt crank w/ bash ring, and lock on yeti grips. great all-around bike.

...I really liked the D4/E4 saber grinds for rugged tip use but you guys keep pushing Sal & co. to change to thin, full-flat grinds that are more fragile! :D

bushcraft 2nd's are back

i read here a while back that sal was going to release bushcraft blanks, no handles, no sheath. so i cheaked the store today and there were bushcraft 2nds again!
i regretted not getting 2 last time, so i ordered 2 this time, one for me, one for my buddy who loved my first one.

i probably would buy a woodcraft blank, if we had a woodcraft store here. i dig full tang blanks. i have done 2 enzo blanks in the last few weeks, and had a ball! never done a mule, mostly because of unavailability. but i like the woodcraft more anyway.

i love my bushcraftUK, since gettin mine, a 2nd, ive gotten 2 more scandi buchcraft knives! a super thick condor bushlore, and an enzo trapper kit that i handled myself, turned out awsome btw.

i think a bushcraft in 3V and canvas micarta handles would be crazy! id buy that sucker up real quick!!!

i use a dakine session, and couldn't be happier!! its very similar to the nomad raven recommended, only slightly smaller at 2 liters, its made for riding a mtn bike, so it fits right when in riding position, and fits snug, and has a great design. a messanger bag is no good for me, as it is faaar too ...
