The Last House on the Left

Hey guys. I saw the remake of The Last House on the Left last night and it had a scene with a Spyderco. I'm not sure which one it was. It was fully serrated and you could see the bug logo but the handle was obscured. Unfortunately it was put to gruesome use by one of the bad guys. Anyone else see it ...

I just recently bought my first SE ( Tenacious ) and I really like it. I still prefer PE but I can definitely see why some people love serrations. I personally don''t care for combo-edged knives. It just seems to break up the flow and graceful lines of a blade to me.

Tenacious: My test platform

I've only been buying Spyderco knives for a little over a year and most of mine are the standard Frn,plain edge,VG-10 users most people start out with. I just ordered a Tenacious after realizing what a cheap test platform it is. For $35 shipped I can try a new steel, a liner lock, G-10, a full flat ...

That would have to be the much anticipated Sasquaxe. In H1 of course, as Sasquatch blood is rumored to be very corrosive.

I forgot about the PE Manix I got about this time last year. They had just announced discontinuation. I paid $102 but I almost doubled that when I sold it.

What Spyderco's have you stolen?

Not literally of course. My participation in the recent T-Mag frenzy has me wondering what other great deals you've gotten. I've had some minor finds in the last few months. I found a new Spot with no sheath or box for $15, a Vagabond for $12 NIB, and a Catcherman NIB for $51 (which was quite a bit ...

I've bid on ebay, but they keep getting up above what I'm willing to pay for a fillet knife. I'm still kicking myself for not buying one at Sportsmans Warehouse for $50 when I had the chance. This was less than a month ago. Aaaargghh.

Catcherman

Spring fever has hit and I'm getting ready for fishing season. My ancient Normark fillet knife has been officially retired and I'm thinking about a Catcherman. Assuming it doesn't have blade play, is there any reason I shouldn't get one? That is if I can find one.

The old pheasant hunter in me loves safety orange so I was thinking about getting a orange UKPK but was worried about dirt and grime getting embedded in the scales and making them look dingy. Any problems with that?

I saw a Tom Knapp exhibition here in Iowa a few years ago. Very entertaining. He's not only an excellent shot but a real showman. He shoots for Benelli. Patrick Flanigan, who shoots for Winchester, is also very good.

Warranty Return Shipping?

I was going to e-mail Spyderco to ask this, but figured it would be quicker to ask here since it's the weekend. When Spyderco ships your knife back to you after warranty work do they notify you that it's on it's way back? I ask because I recently sent a knife in and it's being shipped back to a ...
