Warranty Return Shipping?

I was going to e-mail Spyderco to ask this, but figured it would be quicker to ask here since it's the weekend. When Spyderco ships your knife back to you after warranty work do they notify you that it's on it's way back? I ask because I recently sent a knife in and it's being shipped back to a friends house instead of mine ( I have a P.O. box). So will they e-mail me when it's en route, or do I have to do the whole ... is it here yet...is it here yet thing?

:spyder: they just send it back, if you didn't send return shipping they'll ask for five bucks but they'll send it back either way. :spyder:

sometimes yes, sometimes no...best way IMO is to send them an email asking for a return email when it gets shipped back.
