No lock Spydercos

Post by J Smith »

I have to post this as I have been carrying the orange UKPK sense I got it and quickly got used to the slip joint action.I have not had any problem at all with it not having a lock.Is there any plans for other knives maybe a little on the larger size 3-3.5 in blade in a slip joint?

The old pheasant hunter in me loves safety orange so I was thinking about getting a orange UKPK but was worried about dirt and grime getting embedded in the scales and making them look dingy. Any problems with that?

It does show dirt.
I scrubbed it with soap and a toothbrush after about 4 days carry, wasn't to bad dirty but did show.Cleaned up nice and quick.
That being said I work handling equipment that is very dirty so when I use the knife my hands are much dirtier than most peoples.
Its a little dingy right now but I did have some sort of black dust on my hands today. As dirty as my hands were not that much of it transfered to the knife.
