I think a Folder with H-1 that could be dissasembled would be great. Then it could handle anything, including dirt and sand, and still come back to perfect with a little work.

Just my opinions here. I'm probably in the small minority here that likes the feel of the SS Delica more than the FRN, even though I would have to say that the FRN probably makes more sense utility wise. For me the reason is simple- I'm used to heavy tools. I'm an electrician, and carry lots of ...

Reversed Pocket Clip

Just playing around with different clip positions a while back, and I left the clip on the left-hand tip-down position. I've been still keeping it in my right front pocket, and pulling it out with my index finger going in the pocket, and my thumb on the clip. It's gotten really natural for me, and ...

Yeah, cartoons can definetly help your sanity! I feel a personal conection with wyle e. coyote. He just keeps his eye on the prize, never gives up, and gets beat every time! Poor guy. I think he's one of the great role models of all time! :D Love donald duck for prety much the same reasons- he ...

HAHA, I really doubt you have to worry Zen, I don't actually think there would ever be a clip on one of these babies (amazing collection by the way  ). As for the steel upgrade, I am looking forward to that as much as any other knife news I've heard in a long time! Now back to looking at all ...

Wow, today I was just trying to figure out how a clip could be added to a jester, and here you are talking about it. Sure would be cool to me too- a clip knife so small and friendly it couldn't afend anyone, but still able to do the job :)

I've been eating Ramen for who knows how long, but currently my favorite way to eat it is: Chicken, cooked with some hot peppers, drain the broth, add a little black pepper & olive oil. I guess I might take it a little to seriusly, My wife make a great dish with beef Ramen, strips of beef ...

Boker with Spyder Hole

Just ran into this, thought it was worth posting. Not really my kinda knife, but it looks nice, and it good to see someone asking to use the Hole. Cool handle material and cool damascus pattern!

2 questions for anyone who has carried a Kiwi

I really like the Kiwi design, and just wanted to ask those with more experience-

1) Are they people friendly? I love the way they look (and feel) and they don't look agressive to me, but then I've seen them so often. They sure are a unique shape- how do non-knife people react?

2) Are they strong ...

Very cool thread going on here guys- awesome work dedguy! Well you got me thinking and I made this little sketch of a 90 knife. Much more modest design, and not nearly as skilled as some of the other pics here, but I thought I'd just post it up here for fun.

Another vote here for the front lock (if its done well like a spyderco). It feels strong to me and I also like the full-ambi thing as well. It also confuses the least amount of other people that I let borrow my knife (even though some still don't get how to close it  ) Still, I like any ...

Jeweled Spydercos.

Anyone know a good way to get this done? I just ran into some pics and, wow, they sure look good to me! Is this something I can do myself, or is there a good company out there that does this? I'd sure love to have a delica done this way-blade and all, and maybe a SS Jester too!

Just wanted to say that I've only been checking out Spyderco products for a short while now, and I've been impressed by the way everything seems to be in a constant state of improving! Thanks and keep it up to everyone at Spyderco. (and a side question for anyone that might know... now that the ...
