Black handle Spydies.. Uggggg!

:spyder: The black handles are getting boring. I can see if miltary, swat, police, etc... prefer a black handle on a knife for stealth issues; but the rest of us IMO including myself should take the next step past the black and into a more colorful handle (that is if Spyderco offers it) Now this is ...

I was in Hawaii on my honeymoon 4 years ago when they had the earthquake. My wife and I were on the 42nd floor of our room and it sounded like someone was trying to break down the door. Then I jumped out of bed and looked out the window and it looked like everything outside was swaying side to side ...

Earthquake Philadelphia, PA

I just experienced my first earthquake here in Philadelphia, PA. Don't know too many details about it at the moment. Should be on the news as I am typing this. My workplace was evacuated, but we are back in the building right now...

I hear that!! I see the Srun M2 going for close to $200 on the internet/ The para that I want can be had for about $120 give or take... THX for the input.

Well...I really don't give 2 squirts about weight unless I am in dress clothes, and I find that the blue is just horrid. I hate the orange too, but I love the Manix a lot. I am not nearly as big a fan of the Para2 as many here are, I think that it has some definite faults that need addressing, so ...

You picked 3 excellent choices. From your list, I would pick the Para 2 for the best compromise of low weight, compact size and maximum blade length. It carries easily and I love the ergonomics. I have the other 2 you mention as well, but I don't carry the M2 as much due to size. It takes up more ...

New Spydie for rotation

:spyder: Want to get a new Spydie to throw into the rotation. I'm thinking about the Blue Sage 3, the sprint run Manix 2 orange or the Paramilitary... Feedback? THX!! :spyder:

I saw a video once about new scales for a Manix2. I emailed to get a price and he said he charges $80 for a set of G-10 scales. The ones in the video really looked good. The person definately had skill and tools to do a very good job. There is a thread here about a set of CF scales made for a ...

:spyder: Anyone make their own lanyards for their Spydies? If so, can you give some detail? Like what you use, types of knots and accessories used? I love knotting up lanies for my Spydies! :spyder:

That I can 100% agree with!! Because the combo edges that I personally like are on blades 4 inches or longer. The Endura combo edge is almost perfect.

Because the combo edge on the Delica simply doesn't give you the amount of plain edge you need.

As they say... great minds think alike. LOL ...

Combo Edge

The combo edge IMO is good IF
it is on a larger knife. For example: a combo edge would be better on an Endura 4 rather than a Delica 4. For the amount of Spydie Edge that would be on the Delica 4 blade, it doesn't leave much room for the remaining straight edge.
