Re: Reveal 20 - Live!

That serrated PM2 LW will be my next knife. Hopefully serrated magnacut PM2 LW in yellow will be upon us eventually. Black blade, yellow handle, serrated.

What are the odds we see a serrated para3 salt?

I’d love one. We know golden can make para 3 salt, para 3 lw serrated, and magnacut serrated.

This one in the cards? Satin would be great but a black blade yellow body would be amazing.

We all could have told an ai algorithm to draw a Delica with fish meat for handles.
I'd love to see that thread.

But I also think you missed a big opportunity here. Because what everyone should be doing is drawing a Delica with fish... scales.

Re: Decline of serrations

I use serrations for a steak knife (stretch 2 xl) and my gardening knife (para 3 lw, se), as well as my keychain knife (manbug leaf). SE is always a rougher cut, but cuts through anything, always. I’ve had PE slide over the surface of stems, meat, pvc tubing, and other material. I have a manbug salt ...

Re: Lost knives - living the hypothetical

So let's hear of some of the knives that are still in that case?

Sorry for your loss, I'd be beside myself!

About 8 delicas or salt 2s (various exclusives/steels), about 6 dragonflies (various exclusives/steel), a couple endelas, a pacific salt, a couple para 3s (magnacut, spy27, bd1n), two ...

Lost knives - living the hypothetical

My knife case with about 30 knives in it was very likely caught up in a donation run. Luckily I had a handful of knives “in use” that weren’t in the case, so I still have them:

* Delicas: M390 and K390
* Dragonflies: H1 SE and K390 WC
* Stretch 2 XL SE
* Manbug Leaf SE
* A Frankenstein Para 3 I ...

Re: Police SPY27 has Dropped

Hi Vivi,

Right now, not likely in SPY-27. I wanted one with teeth, but we don't have a new source for the steel yet.

sal

Sal,

This is why I was surprised to see so many new production knives announced in SPY27. Without a source for the steel, it seems like it would be more of a limited run ...

Re: DLT Trading Smock Exclusive: Green Canvas Micarta w/ CPM20CV

I have several Smocks. My one complaint is that the angle of the choice is just a little snaggy. If that part of the knife was a little less curved it would be perfect.

Re: Magnamax performance discussion

3 large trash bags full of 1/2" to 1" wide strips.

Still cutting smoothly, no snags. Still has some shaving ability left.

Starting to think this is the real deal. Sharpens nicely, killer edge holding, solid corrosion resistance and seems reasonably tough.

I'll see how much more it can cut on ...

Re: suggestion: non-salt seki models in Magnacut

Unfortunately Sal has previously indicated that MagnaCut won't be making it to Seki. IIRC that's due to the economics of shipping steel over there. Which is a real shame as the core Seki lines (Delica, Endura, Rescue and the matching Salts) don't really have Golden-made equivalents.

Are all ...

For me it's all about the design rather than country of origin. My favorites are split between golden and seki. street beat,police,manix xl, c95, military 2, temperance 1 & 2, etc.
not the pac salt for you?

Of course if MagnaMax was imminent in Seki, that would work too. K390 is my favorite steel except for the corrosion.

Re: suggestion: non-salt seki models in Magnacut

LC 200 is already offered in Seki models

Other than handle color options MC really brings nothing to the table

I respectfully disagree. But actually along those lines I have found that both LC200N and H2 seem rather close in performance (yes I know that H2's edge retention is quite a bit less ...

Hi Hobbyist,

I would suggest you call the store. I would guess they are available separately.

Ok great. I was mainly commenting about them not being sold online. Will call during the week. Thanks, Sal!

suggestion: non-salt seki models in Magnacut

I'd love a PE delica and PE endela in magnacut. With their blade shape, not that of the salt or pac salt (yes I know the pac salt is more akin to the endura). I'd also be all over a dragonfly in Magnacut PE, SE, and Wharncliffe PE.

I know getting steel to Japan is an expensive endeavor, but my ...

Goldenstone/Webfoot 30 degree ABS base - please sell separately!

That base is awesome. Or should I say _was_ awesome. Because I lost mine. My golden stone is in perfect working condition, but I'm sad without the base.

I believe this should be something you sell separately. Please consider it.
