Since this is a tenacious thread, I have a question on how well you like it? Also, how does this steel hold an edge compared to VG-10. I know not as good, just looking for some illustration of the difference.

I love it, it's an excellent knife, the edge retention is decent but you will need to ...

Tenacious Maintenance Question

So I got my tenacious back in December and I've noticed some corrosion marks starting to form. So I've started to oil the knife daily before I stuff it in my pocket for the day. I love the knife btw!!!

My first question is...is this a normal problem for the Tenacious and 8cr13mov?

I think it ...

I've got one, I somehow jacked up the blade when sharpening and pretty much straightened it out. I was going to buy a new one but I found out through nutnfancy's shot show vid that they are going to be making full flat grind versions so I've decided to wait for those to come out and just keep edcing ...

You never really defined what you would be using it for other than it needs to be "tough" and "somewhat abusable". I could recommend the Adventura as I have abused the crap outta mine over the last two years - cutting open tuna cans and coffee cans, using it as a screw driver, hammer, drywall ...

tough abusable spyderco?

I am looking towards buying my second spydie this time I have some different requirements for this knife. My :spyder: D4 is great for cutting boxes but now I need something tough and somewhat abusable. Not that I like abusing my knives but I want something that I don't fear breaking. I am told the ...

My wife loves her Ladybug, I've even had to re-sharpen it because it gets used so often at her office. A couple of days ago I saw her open my Native with one hand to cut open a package, she used to only feel comfortable with an old fashioned two hand opening. Then last week at a local sporting ...

First Spydie (Delica) reveiw

:spyder: Okay so my Spydie got here last night and I think it's great. It's light and compact. It's sharp as a light saber, easy to open and the handle feels great in my hand. One complaint I have is closing it is hard seeing how light it is, I cut my hand closing it but once you get the handle on ...

Thanks everyone for the welcome :) I have to pick it up after 1700, it turns out something sent 4 days after it came in first  . I was so ready to ream out Customs but when I got home the ticket was in my mailbox so it's ready for pickup after 1700. I'm glad I'll have the weekend to play around ...
