Yeah so I'm to excited! Can't wait for tomorrow morning :D My first spydie is at the post office. **** mail man marked "no answer" on the tag yet I was home all day and he didn't knock! They never do but I am picking it up first thing in the morning

Welcome to the forums! Of course, the big question is...which :spyder: model did you pick as your first??

First Spydie (Delica) reveiw

Post by roof_top_eagle »

:spyder: Okay so my Spydie got here last night and I think it's great. It's light and compact. It's sharp as a light saber, easy to open and the handle feels great in my hand. One complaint I have is closing it is hard seeing how light it is, I cut my hand closing it but once you get the handle on it you do fine. So yeah I've been bitten by the spyder! It's great for cutting cardboard and opening mail. I wouldn't use it for heavy duty work like cutting branches or massive rope. But overall it is great. I can see myself ordering the Caly3 with wave next.
Thanks for everyones help in choosing my first spyderco. :spyder:

Welcome to the forum! By the way, your Delica wouldn't be too happy if you had some massive rope to cut, but used something else! :p :D

By the way, there is no (official) such thing as a Waved Caly-- yet, at least.
God Bless Texas!

It's true, and they are both excellent all around use knives. I love my Delica 4 - both FRN and stainless.
