Now that you mention it, I can see that as well.

Kind of like a Laguiole handle with a Lum shaped blade.

I was in Key West myself a month ago, very nice indeed.

Bingo! The Chinese Folder is what I thought of when I saw this knife.

Old school folding pocket knife (circa 1622)!

Hi gang.

My wife and I just returned from an amazing vacation in Key West, FL.

While there one of our activities (among many) included a visit to the Mel Fisher Maritime Heritage Museum. There among all of the pirate treasure and artifacts, I found a folding pocket knife. I snapped a picture, and ...

Thanks for the pics. Any way to get a pic of it in hand with the intended grip the knife was designed for?

Oh yeah, I am sure he is a good guy. He sure sells a bunch of neat looking knives. I was just being a goof for fun.

For fun, what's wrong with this Ebay ad?

Check out this Ebay ad for this beautiful Custom Cricket.

How many errors in the description can you spot?

:D

Either that seller was in a hurry to post the ad, and didn't proof read his work, or he hardly even knows anything about what it is he is selling!

Think the fact the set is not complete "might" keep the price from going too far into the twilight zone. I'll guess $325

Ended at $355 plus $16 shipping. Excellent guess, sir!

I guess we didn't set a new record, I seem to recall a knife made by Spyderco sell recently on Ebay for $500+. I forget ...

Evolution Edition winning bid. Any guesses?

Anyone want to make a guess as to what the 'Evolution Edition' spyderco set currently listed on Ebay is going to sell for?

I forsee some sort of a new record being set for "price paid for collectible Spyderco knives".

But hey I could be wrong! we shall see...

I am a bad 'guesser', but I'll take a ...

You may take any of your knives on US flights if you check the luggage carrying your knives.

Last year on vacation (I flew) I took my CF Millie, Paramillie and my Endura Foliage Green. No problems. The only problem you could have is if you go to the airport for your return flight, and forget you ...

Airplanes & knives!

Hello all.

In June, my wife and I are flying to Key West for some vacation time. The idea of going 8+ days without some sort of an EDC knife doesn't sit well with me. I don't need anything big and scary, I was thinking my Waved Delica would be great for this vacation. Obviously I understand no ...

Hard to say. I never saw any Sypdercos like that before. Perhaps the more experienced Spyderco aficionados can shed some light on this.... thing.

Oh no hard feelings. You definately wanted that piece more than I did! Way to go! That thing is beautiful.

Just promise to post some nice pics when you get it so I can live vicariously through you.

Nice!

Funny, I am sure we were bidding against each other in that auction. I had my snipe set at $224. Any higher than that is too rich for my blood. And as we know, the ending bid was a lot higher than $224!

Have fun with your new toy.

A very special knife indeed.

Of all of the Spydercos I own, the Waved Delica is the one that is clipped to my pocket 98% of the time.

Indeed a sexy looking knife.

Take a look at the buyers feedback, and dig around to see other items that he has recently purchased. This guy isn't playing games. He is a knife nut, and I am pretty certain that price was no object when it came to this particular knife. As long as he got it in his collection, I bet he wouldn't ...
