Today we had an appointment with our wedding photographer, which was about an hour away. I had heard about a knife store in the area that stocked Spydercos, so I stopped by after the appointment.
Well I got there just as they were closing, but the man at the counter was kind enough to let me look around. They had a nice selection of Spyderco knives, including the new big Hossom, Street Beat, Kris and more. I didn't want to spend a lot of cash, so those three were out.
So what did I settle on? The Delica 4 Wave! This is my first waved knife, and I'm amazed how simply and effectively the wave feature works. I love the gray FRN too. I wound up having a nice conversation with the guy (who was the father of the owner), and he threw in a free bottle of Tuff-Glide with my purchase -- very cool!

yeah i'm not sure what the color of the FRN actually is. the catalog says gray, but i agree, it looks like there is some dark blue in there too -- sorta like a blueish-gray color.
