Around me we have Gander Mtn, Bass Pro, Cabeala's, and this small warehouse size gun store called Mega Sports which has a few Spydies but, a ton of all the other major production companies knives. The box stores only usually have a few Delica's and Endura's.

Hi George.

Thanx for the input and welcome to the Spyderco forum.

We recognize that the lock does need some refinement. Eric and I, as well as R&D and engineering have promised each other that we'll do that in 2010.

Some of our concepts are "out there" and will require snkeaking up on. The lock ...

Yeah I get bored with Spydies every now and then but, I always come back around. I've been carrying my Para for the last couple of weeks and can't wait till the Para2 comes out (hint for Sal).

With that being said, when I'm not carrying my Para it's usually my Lg Classic Sebbie or both at the same ...

But when you are searched one day, and found on the wrong side of the law in regards to your carry option that day, youll be sad to lose that knife and have to stand in court for it. Laws, however difficult and illogical at times, are there for reasons, and as a knife afi, or collector, or any user ...

I'm glad this passed but, I will carry what I want within reason no matter what the law states, F*#@K'em! Besides I haven't been stopped by a cop let alone searched by a cop since I was a teenager anyways.

I've been out of the knife scene for a while now and just occasionally lurk in different forums. I can say that I've been waiting for the para 2 for like 4 years now and I CAN'T WAIT! :)

I love a SE edge. The problem is I've never been able to sharpen a SE, even on a sharpmaker where I get a PE scary sharp. I think that has a lot of people turned off on the SE. It might not because they don't like them but, because they might not be able to effectively sharpen them.

udated paramilitary?

I've heard talk of the para being redesigned for a long time and was wondering if/when it will happen? I'd love to see the clip redesigned so that the knife doesn't stick out of your pocket like a skyscraper and the tang of the blade be tucked all the way in when the knife is closed. Any news yet? I ...

What they needed is more pressure. Far more than a hotwater heater could provide and a larger turbine instead of a small pnuematic motor.

When I was younger my Dad bought me some unknown Spyderco. My Mom didn't like the idea of me having a knife (sheeple Mom, divorced parents). She took the knife from me and I never saw it again.

broke down and bought?

Well I finally broke down and bought a d4 w/wave just now. I've been wanting one for awhile now and my job just forced me to work a double today and yesterday so I figured I would reward myself. I also ordered a salt 1 SE, and a sharpmaker. Now I have to figure out a way to pass the time until my ...
