CRAP!! broken spydies!

and it had to happen to my two favorites too....

first of all, i was at work with my Caly Jr. and i go to sit down and i guess i snagged the clip on something, because when i stood back up i snapped the clip right off. i went to pull my knife out later to open a box and there was just the part of ...

well, i like that idea, but i think the clip methods we have right now need improving in general. on all of my spydercos (centofante IV, bug and shell vesuvius, caly jr) i have the 3-screw clip. i am one of the few people the really likes tip down carry as i like to carry my knives in my rear right ...

i like Frank Centofante's designs alot. I already have a bug inlay CE Vesuvius and i'm planning on getting a shell inlay one, plus a Centofante IV. i just feel that the Vesuvius/CentoIII has my favorite blade shape of any :spyder:

i also vote Kevin Wilkins

on my Vesuvius you have to be carefl when one hand closing as when the blade folds in it can hit the last spacer and ding the edge of the blade. i found this out the hard way :( this is something that's been eliminated with the Centofante III but i still like the Vesuvius better

i just bought a Vesuvius CE (non inlay version) from john f jenson so my knife buying urge is on a hiatus for a while. i plan on getting a CE Delica IV in FRN though, my buddy Tyler has a Delica II and i always wanted one. I guess there's no better time than now :)

i'm more of a Hamer USA and Taylor kind of guy but i do dig strats. if you want ugly guitars, Hamer in the 80's can trump anyone. with the Scarabs, 36 fret Virtuosos, Scepters, etc. they had it all over this thing. then again, the HUrricane Katrina Gibson Les Paul is pretty hideous too. Anyone here ...

if you visit Deacon's site, he has a compare sizes feature which would let you view them all together. don't know if that's something that would be helpful or not but it's worth a try www.paulberetta.com

the Delica 4 and the Caly Jr. The Caly is an awesome knife. for one thing, it's unbelievably light and thin; you forget you have it in your pocket half the time. it opens and closes easily and quickly with one hand. it's ergos are awesome, it fits perfectly in your hand and just stays there. the FRN ...
