I hadn't really intended to come back afterwards, but seeing the patience those forumites displayed in regards to my rampant stupidity
was quite admirable, so I figured I'd give this place a try, and started posting as often as possible.6 months, and 2000+ posts later, I'm still here, and I still don't know how to shut up :p I've gained some great friends, learned some very cool stuff, and spent some obscene amounts of money thanks to everyone here(I blame all those pics you guys post :D ).
I still frequent other forums periodically, but nowhere near as much as I spend here. This is definitely home for me. I'm glad to be a part of this great forum, in the company of great people, and in the company of a great company(that just sounds weird :confused: but you know what I mean)

Now that all that stuff is out of the way, time for the contest :D Actually contests, there's gonna be two, because I've got two knives that need a home.
Both are very simple contests, but should prove fairly difficult (can't make this easy on you)
First Contest: Guess my high school class mascot. Each years graduating class votes on a mascot to represent their class, in my case, class of 99. You just have to figure out what that mascot was.
The winner of this will receive a new FB08P Plain Edge SPOT with Black Micarta Handle scales(no box though, it had seen better days when I received it) Tank won this one already. The correct answer was a PhoenixSecond Contest: Guess the name of my girlfriend's cat(female). Doesn't get any easier than that. The winner of this will receive a NIB Delica SE (3rd Gen) courtesy of Spyderco from an SFO order recently.
Rules: One entry per person, per contest(You may post a guess for each contest) In the case of duplicate guesses, the first person to post it, gets it. If no one guesses the right answer by friday night, I'll start posting hints, and everyone may have a second guess.
