My mistake, it's the G10 Cara Cara and Meadowlark, sorry for the mixup. But I guess those are the only ones planned for now?

G10 Byrds

I know that a G10 version of the Meadowlark and Crossbill are being produced, but is there any plan to do the rest of the line in G10? If so, when should we expect to see them?

Jester opening

Hi Chris,

Sorry about the cut. This is the first I've heard of a Jester opening accidentally. Any idea how it opened?

The rest of those cuts are pretty awful. Sorry. It's hard to make a very sharp edge that won't cut flesh.

I manage to cut myself 2 or 3 times per month. You'd think I'd know ...

Spyder bite

Somehow my Jester opened in my pocket this morning between my truck and my front door. My thumb found the open and locked blade when I reached in for my keys  and I now have a deep little slice next to my fingernail.
I know my story isn't particularly exciting, but it made me wonder: How did ...

Today a package arrived with the three knives I ordered earlier this month. Inside was a PE Meerkcat that I am giving to my girlfriend to use at the stable and a yellow SE Atlantic Salt for me. Also in the box was an EDC gift for my brother: CE SS Delica 4.

The blades on both the current model Spur and Navigator are made from VG-10 (one of the more popular steels among the knife knuts on this forum) while the Dragonfly's blade is made from ATS-55 (which I am not familiar with).

Even though the Spur and Navigator have the same blade steel, they have ...

I am pretty sure that the salsa has a 2.5" blade and I know that the Byrd Robin is of an acceptable length as well. All of the other knives I can think of that meet your requirements have already been mentioned.

Another "gripe sheet" story

The Air Force version of a gripe sheet is called the 781. It is a binder that stays with the aircraft and includes the gripe sheets. One day, a single seat jet was not able to get it's gear down for landing and circled for a while and once it burned off some fuel and all the emergency vehicles were ...

I love having the Jester on my key ring. It sees more regular use then my Native because I am around lots of NKP, plus it's a great size for small-scale tasks. While I would be excited to see one made with upgraded steel, I would not be excited to pay much more since it works very well already (as ...

I climb occasionally, but I can only get to an indoor wall unless I'm visiting friends back home.
