I have a Dragonfly etched and like it very much. It´s not too heavy with strong spring, fit and finish are excellent, no play, couldn´t be better. The bevel on the spine not only looks good but is also still usable for pressure cuts, great job, Ed Schempp.

Silverback, if you carry a knife for which "you'll just need a good explanation" (socially adequate reason, the law says: generally accepted purpose) the question is, whether a police officer believes the explanation or not.
Even if the explanation would later be accepted by a judge, you probably ...

Not really. "Slicing" (More specifically push cutting as well) is all I do with my knives. I don't pry with them, so that extra steel is not only useless for my application of the knife, but it makes the performance of the knife significantly worse for the uses I have for it.

/unlist me, I love the Delicas. Especially their ergos are very versatile and the best I can imagine. There are several other models with choil. So I see no need for making them all the same like I see no need for putting the same lock in every model. Variety is an important point in the Spyderco ...

Well, I know it´s hard to find other EDC models if you love the Delica. Since I got it I EDC the D4W PE and lately with the D4 SS SE, which has become my main tool. Before the Delicas the Paramili has been my first EDC. So my suggestion is Paramilitary PE/SE as 2nd EDC. The Compression Lock is a ...

Congrats to the Paramili, it´s one of the best folders in the world and it still would be my 2nd EDC if it were legal in Germany. The off-center blades are nothing to worry about safety-wise. It´s only an optical issue. They are like the vertical play in some midlocks/backlocks , only it couldn´t ...

JD Spydo, very well said! Except IIRC Michael Janich once wrote, he likes to start cuts with serrations and pull through with the plain part of the blade, what would make CE blades his favorits. I´m not sure about that though. Nevertheless I just bought his awesome Blackhawk Kalista in PE. :cool ...
