Re: The Last Gun You Bought

This is actually the last gun that I bought (S&W 442).. but more recently, I bought the Altamont grips that are on it, which replaced some nice boot grips that i had on there .. definitely improves aim and accuracy given the full grip profile, but for sure is a bit less easily concealed.. The added ...

Nice Atom! Other than Spyderco, TRMs are my most carried lately! I got a set of custom monkeywood scales for my Neutron recently, and have an Atlas slip joint on the way! Great company, great knives! :)

Re: What’s Your Favorite Underrated Sleeper Knife?

Echoing some of the sentiments above.. the Stretch (more so the 1 because I find it to be more comfortable), and Brouwer are GREAT knives that I feel don't always get the attention they deserve. Also.. I don't think it's been mentioned here yet.. the Lil' Temp 3 is one of my favorites that I think i...

https://i.ibb.co/SdXm5rW/pm2wo.jpg Purrdy. The wave gives it a very nice angle play. Hahah I did my best to not buy this knife when it first came out, but when it was still in stock a week later, I caved and picked one up.. I'm glad that I did! I find the wave feature to be really useful for quick ...

Re: Smart Phones

I had an iphone 6S for over 4 years and it worked just fine.. still does.. except it got to the point where the battery would only last about half a day before needing a charge and less if I actually needed to use it for something (maps, geocaching, music, etc), which was a pain. I probably could h...

Re: The heinous Canis

Does anybody know if BHQ have the Canis in stock ? Reason I ask is that I had $5.00 deposit on one and now it looks like I've been charged the balance for the knife !! No email of update/shipping notice from BHQ yet. Thanks. Login to BHQ and check the status of your order in your account info.. I'v...

Re: Anyone else dislike the wire pocket clip?

For me, it depends on the knife.. I think the wire clips really complement smaller knives and the LWs. I do find that the retention is sometimes not quite as good as with the spoon clip, and they can be a bit more finicky, IMO (my chap LW clip is sometimes a PITA to keep in place).. For that reason,...

Re: Spydiechef Closing Action

I was very very fortunate to get a hold of a Spydiechef. It is just beautiful and I love every aspect of it, especially when cooking. My only concern is that the detent closing action with one hand is very difficult for me and is not natural. I am always looking to see if it will close on my knuckl...

Re: Naked and afraid...

About a year and a half ago I went for a walk and, about half way through, realized that I forgot to carry a knife. This is so rare an occasion for me that I actually still remember it! Normally though, on the off-chance that I do forget my knife, I keep a couple spare beaters in the car or at my de...

Re: Good kayak knife?

I usually carry my Native Salt in and around the water. I will probably carry the Siren a lot more now that I have that though. Any of the Salt series really, would make a great kayak knife..

When your boss hands you money and says, "go buy beer".. well then drinking at work just makes you a good employee, right?

I've been trying to grab one of these but have been unsuccessful so far.. I've pretty much written it off at this point. Thinking I'll have to live vicariously through forum pics on this one! Keep them coming! Hoping to try out some S45VN in a more accessible platform someday! Seems like a very nice...

Re: Unusual knives you own

I don't own anything too crazy, but these are pretty.. we'll go with.. "unique".. Top - a gift from my uncle, who considers himself a "knife guy".. haha, I question his tastes, but he does at least know how to keep his knives sharp.. and I will admit, I don't have a knife that is more slim in the po...
