Re: Crazy Good Deals Part 2!!
I've long suspected that the purpose of this thread was more about monitoring dealers than helping enthusiasts find good deals. However, I’ve also always genuinely enjoyed hunting for deals and helping others find knives they may be interested in at a discounted price. I've posted many of those good ...

Re: New PM2 FRN
Nice to hear. I read a comment on YouTube that it was stuff action and the compression lock prevented it from closing or something weird . Can’t always trust the trolls in the comments.
Can confirm, in spite of my not being a troll on the youtubes..
When fully depressed, the lock bar on my ...

According to Verizon, you can't call diagonal cutters "dikes" anymore..
True story:
A few years back, I was at a swap meet where there was a tool vendor. The guy had his teenage daughter and her friend helping out for the day. I was looking over his wares when the girls came up and asked if ...

I am also hoping the Starmate is released soon, preferably ahead of the January price hikes..
Rick, I haven't been around long enough to know if this is a thing, but is it a thing, usually each January?
I definitely give credit where credit is due, as we saw some price decreases ...

Re: Spyderco Delivered and Upcoming *discussion*
My Edgerati is alleged to be delivered on Wednesday by UPS and I'm quite excited about it! I agree, an "Edgerati-ized" Bodacious would be awesome. The Bodacious is the better knife, imo; my Shaman sees very little carry time since I got a Bodacious.

Re: 2025 Black Friday map holiday
I've seen several dealers advertising some variation of "Black Friday MAP Sale 20% Off All Spyderco (except Sprint and recent reveal products) 11/28 - 12/1." Fair to say the MAP holiday is on at this point, I think!

Re: What is this part of blade called? Which Spydercos have it?
The arrow is pointing to what I would just call the "heel" of a recurve blade. Not sure if the curvature lends itself to more descriptive nomenclature :thinking

Re: China
I don’t love buying Chinese knives in general, but if I really like a design and the designer/manufacturer is transparent about country of origin, I won’t totally discount a knife for being made in China. I have a handful of Chinese Spydercos.. Tenacious, Resilience, UpTern, Astute, come to mind as ...

I was immediately excited to see glance through and see a few NEW DESIGNS! My deflation upon zooming in to see "8Cr13MoV/China" stamped on them was.. not insignificant haha.
The Mantra 4 looks like an amazing design, deserving of the Golden treatment. I will probably still buy one..

FrogLube FrogWipes? Advertised as a "cleaning, lubricating, rust prevention product." Seems like it's mostly targeted towards the firearms crowd, but sounds similar to what you're looking for..
