Re: So I want to try a Native.

I've always loved the Native. Years ago, long before I got into Spyderco, I remember seeing a friend's Native (4, I think..) and just falling in love with the design.. Fast-forward to today and the Native is model that I have the most of.. the Native Salt has probably been my most carried Native, du...

Re: KC Exclusive Shaman Rosewood REX 45

I've been trying to temper my knife-buying lately and was able to hold off on this one.. Looks like an absolutely gorgeous piece though, and I'm pretty excited to see some pics of it in the wild! :)

Re: Forum knife 2020 - steel poll

I voted SPY27. I think its use in the 2020 forum knife would be a pretty cool commemoration of its release!

SPY27! S45VN! REX45! Watu!

Wow! The new steel/scale colors look great! Loving all the REX too, hopefully I'm finally able to pick some up!

I didn't think that I'd be too interested in this reveal.. I was mistaken.

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??

All the OD green micarta! Matches your Bradley, no? Yes! I liked it so much on the GB2 that I ordered a set for the Smock. I prefer the finish on the GB2 scales.. the Smock scales are smoother for some reason even though they are the same material from the same company (Sharp Dressed Knives).. stil...

Re: I Don't Get The "Spydie-Flick."

I've never really given it much consideration, but thinking on it now.. I'd say I typically thumb-roll open my knives a large majority of the time. I find this to be reliably fast and efficient across all lock types, and because I rotate my carry pretty frequently, thumb-roll opening just makes the ...

Re: Got a favorite ax? Post ‘em up!

My favorite axe is my Fiskars X27. They're definitely not as cool looking as traditionals, but mine splits wood like no axe I've ever used.. now if I can just keep my father from beating the hell out of it..

I've always considered them to be nothing more than a bit of conspicuous "tacticool" hokum. But hell, I'm just some guy on the internet, what do I know ;)..

Re: Forum knife 2020 - model poll

Given the choices, I voted UKPK. Seems like it would be the most accessible option for the largest number of members. As others have mentioned, I'd love to see the drop point version! A Shaman would be nice, but I feel like it might price itself out of consideration for more members than something a...

Re: Design details that are deal breakers

Idk that there are really any "dealbreakers" for me when it comes to Spyderco knives with regard to design language.. I have my preferences yes, but generally, I'm willing to give any Spyderco a chance because when I handle them I can see and appreciate that each design feature was thoughtfully and ...

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??

Nice! Aftermarket micarta scales on that Bradley? I like it better than the carbon. I agree! Very nice alternative, who made those? Thanks guys! Scales are OD green canvas micarta from Sharp Dressed Knives. I put them on my GB2 on Saturday and I absolutely love them! The CF is nice and all, but the...

Re: Top 5 “Other” in 2019

My "top 5 other" are for 2018 - 2019.. because they are the only non-Spyderco knives that I've bought in the past two years.. TRM Neutron Benchmade 940S ZT 0450 ZT 0566 ZT 0350 (just barely made the cut.. ordered 12/31/19, and it hasn't even arrived yet!) All are pretty great knives that I really en...
