Re: Spyderco's Designated "Beaters"

I've always been a firm believer in "the right tool for the job," which usually keeps me from doing those "stupid" (abusive) kind of things to my knives.. if there's a better tool for the task at hand, that's what I'll use. That said, I'm always more comfortable pushing my less expensive knives.. j...

Hmmm adjustable, reusable? I really like the idea in theory, wonder how it holds up in use? I'm interested to know your thoughts on it M Sea. Please let us know what you think after you've tried it out! :)

I think this is a cool idea. I'd definitely be interested in attending if the timing was convenient (when I'm not at work haha)!

Re: Cobra Kai

I really liked Season 1. Season two was.. ok. I like how the show works in the nostalgia factor of the movies, along with being entertaining for younger generations.. I think it really appeals to wide audience. And I was surprised how funny it actually is! I'm looking forward to future seasons!

Reminds me a lot of the Proficient. Seems like a great all-around/bushcraft design. I like it! :)

Re: VIDEOS: 6 ways of closing a CBBL one handed

# 6 for me too, with the slight variation that I angle the handle vertically underneath the pivot while fully depressing the cage, allowing the blade to fall to closed with a much less aggressive flicking motion.. it's really more of a free-fall to shut, especially on my Manix LW. I like this method...

Agreed Doc, this is one of the nicer iterations of the Delica that I've seen. Nice even grinds and really sharp out of the box! Love the color too!

Re: Spyderco Neck Lanyard?

I've always been a sucker for miscellaneous branded accessories.. I'd definitely be in on something like this! Great idea and nice WolfSpyder, PStone! Thanks DSH007! It’s my favorite one. I put a coarse microbevel on it this weekend and have been carrying it since. The WolfSpyder is a favorite of m...

Re: Brouwer Clip Placement - 2020 Catalog

^ It's unclear to me from your two posts, tmc.. do you actually have a Brouwer? I have the original, non-CQI model. I'm not a huge fan of the clip placement from an aesthetic and carry-ability standpoint, but appreciate it for its ergonomics. The placement allows bulkiest part of the clip to fill th...

Re: What did you use your Spyderco for last?

10 stitches in the heel of my left foot have left me quite a bit more sedentary than usual the past week or so.. the most action my knives have seen has been opening up copious amounts of advil packaging.. The SE Rockjumper is especially well-suited to the task, but I just had to try out the newest ...

Re: SPY27 Native 5 Lightweight

Just arrived in the mail! The color seems very close to the S110V Native 5 LW blue to me.. maybe just a little bit.. brighter? Idk, I will have have compare when I get home, but based on memory they are pretty similar.. maybe right next to each other on the color shading chart haha. Not a knock or a...

Re: Boye dent poll

Another no preference vote here. I like the Boye dent aesthetically.. I do think they look cool. It would also make sense from a logical standpoint that they may be slightly safer than back-locks without dents. That said, I can't think of a single non-Boye back-lock SPYDERCO knife that I've felt uns...

Re: Jimping poll

Voted no preference.. as others have mentioned, it largely depends on the model for me. I think jimping can really assist in getting a good purchase on some knives and prefer it in certain models, especially small knives like the Manbug or DF2. On other more hand-filling knives and especially ergono...
