This was my guess as to why they did the dark blue.

Just ordered mine. $14.99 shipping hurts a little, but overall $123.94 doesn't seem bad for an M390 blade. Delica is my favorite knife, and I never thought I would see one in this steel. It's worth it to me.

Guys, shiny footprints.

Can we focus on the M390 Delica rather than BBS's business model?

This steel is a pain to sharpen on basic AlOx stones, though I was still able to still get a decent edge. It touches up on the Sharpmaker very nicely though.

That's hard, because Cruwear and REX45 are my two favorites. Can you get two instead of 3?

I've found Cruwear a little easier to get a fine edge on than REX, but REX is better at holding a fine edge. So if you're looking for retention I'd say REX.
