Is black even an option since there is already a Black Native 5? I thought the handle color has to change when the steel changes so that it can be referred to as a distinctly different variant?

I do think that I remember Sal saying awhile back that he prefers to use different colors on different ...

If it is a forum knife, please leave the blade clean without too much text. Large text looks gaudy to me.

+1 to that

I like my blade steels to be clean and shiny (aside from the subtle signatures and the obligatory " :spyder: " of course)

in order of preference:

1- the upcoming fluted titanium
2- carbon fiber of any sort
3- the dark grey G10 that appears to be coming on the new Jester sprint

(aside from any of these I have to go with the general mood of most others in this thread and hope for any sort of darker, muted color...I'm ...

Sorry for not being plugged in. What was the 0777 incident? I saw that thing in Nutnfancy's ZT vid. What was wrong with it aside from being completely overwrought?

IIRC...Kershaw basically stole nearly every part of the design except for (what I think is) the carbon fiber on the blades spine ...

of course just after I post the thread I find the info I was looking for.

Found in KnifeArt.com that it was a 25 piece custom run called the "EXTF"

Great looking knife, though probably out of my comfort range for price...even if one could be found for sale.

Help ID a knife

Hello I've noticed this knife in the slide show on Howe's website, but I cant find it listed on his site and aside from being a "Terzuola" I cant find what the model is.

Anybody have any leads?

I think they are excellent choices. I use all of my ZDP knifes with the Ladybug in the watch pocket. Of course the color choice is limited but I happen to like the BRG.
Good luck!

I would LOVE to see Spyderco pull this off. I woold prefer it in 1095 or O-1 steel with an unfinished spine. Being able to catch a spark off a flint rock is a must for this kind of blade. 6-7 inch size sounds good or even doing something similar to the Hossom line would be welcomed.

The bushcraft ...

Welcome to the Spydie community,

I have Stainless Steel versions of both the Delica and the D'fly, and though the D'fly is a great knife the Delica is my preferred. It's got great grip and feel in the hand with a well sized blade.

Additionally ur on exactly the right track with the ZDP option. For ...

both clips have their perks.

I have generally preferred the low rider style clips as on my Caly3 CF that I've finally started EDCing over the last couple of months. (FWIW mine has never had any play to it)

Though I do still like the flat clips on most of my other knives for other reasons. Namely ...

I think I'm bucking the trend of this thread by going with my favorite "color"...

...Stainless Steel

if the edge is dulled you can still use it as a hammer :p

but in all seriousness the SS model is my first and favorite

Yeah he doesn't look like a swimer maybe they could use him for the role of "boat anchor" he's got the build for it. Super cute puppies, they would have to wear a sweater in our climate.

yeah I have considered getting him some dog boots for when I take him on walks when it's below zero, which ...

I guess I must have been lucky with the edge on mine. the edge actually had a mirror polish to it.
Although I did have to drill out the scales a little bit in order to get the screws counter-sunk properly
