S110V Native 5 Scale Color Poll

I would prefer any darker colour (please not light gray G10 like the 20cp PM2).

How about lightning strike CF, with a GB style black clip?

Truth is, I'd probably buy it whatever the colour.

Sage green or desert tan. Or a nice shade of brown.

in order of preference:

1- the upcoming fluted titanium
2- carbon fiber of any sort
3- the dark grey G10 that appears to be coming on the new Jester sprint

(aside from any of these I have to go with the general mood of most others in this thread and hope for any sort of darker, muted color...I'm not a big fan of the flamboyant scales)


all that being said, I would have no problem with a classy "boring" black.

I don't say this often but please no!
A forum knife for me (and I bet I'm not the only one...) would be a pure collectors piece, and S110V would be such a waste on a paper weight.
Now just a sprint with S110V woudln't leave my pocket. :D

if it was least attractive colour in the world I would still buy it :eek: ... I vote any g10, to keep cost down, otherwise I vote cf, texalium or CF/kevlar weave

Voted for black. I've yet to see another color of CF that doesn't look gaudy, and aside from the polished red on the Sprint Persian, none of the other colors of G-10 Spyderco has used have appealed to me.

I was reading through this thinking it was just another wantie thread that'll never go anywhere. S110v? YOWZA. I voted boring black because it'd be acceptable to everyone, although to be fair I bet peel ply CF would be even more palatable. Honestly though you could make the Native 5 (a knife I'm already not entirely in love with because I'm not such a fan of the mid-lock) in frothy vomit Pepto-Bismol pink and I'd still buy it just to get the S110V. :D

for the vote; I would be happy with anything, but prefer something other than black. I honestly would want a dark green or even foliage green.
Or maybe it would be good to do a light color so we can dye to out choice. a green shade or red would be my first choices.
