I clip a Tasman Salt Hawkbill onto my waistband for when I go running. I bought it specifically to resist rusting from my sweat. It has screws and not pins. I wish they made the Spyderhawk in another color than yellow.

Last month I went into an off the beaten path gun shop/paintball store (weird combo, right?) to see if they had anything cool on consignment. Took a cursory glance at their knife counter, an FB-04 with no box with $119.99 sticker on it. It must have been sitting there for 5 years. Seemed like a ...

I have over 7,000 feedback on eBay as a seller.

List them over the course of a month, starting and ending at the same time. Studies show that Sunday evenings are when the most people are on eBay, time your auctions for sometime on that day.

$9.99 with no reserve on all your auctions. This ...

I have absolutely no compromise in me on the lefty issue. This saves me a bunch of money as I'd otherwise be interested in some of the liner locks, especially in the ethnic series.

Agree 100%. I collect enough crap as it is, so I'm probably secretly grateful that I am a lefty and can skip the ...

The only Spyderco I've ever bought that wasn't 100% ambidextrous or lefty was the Superhawk, as the compression lock is pretty lefty-friendly.

There are too many truly ambidextrous knives out for me to fool around with Spyderco's that aren't 100% lefty friendly, like their linerlocks that are ...

The P'Kal, Matriarch, Civilian and Chinook are defense first, utility second blades, right? The Ayoob is just another in a long lineage of Spyderco knives that don't have cutting boxes or twine as their first objective.

Front Sight is a joke for a lot of folks in the firearms community. Maybe it's because the place is run by a guy who always refers to himself as a doctor (he's a chiropractor) and "millionaire patriot" (Front Sight is in government arbitration) who admittedly has some connection with Scientology ...

You didn't lose it by 50 cents, that's just the next automatic bid increment. You bid $23.00, the winning bidder could have bid $100.00, but all that is needed to outbid you was 50 cents. Seeing as the winning bidder placed 4 bids above yours, I'd guess it was much more than 50 cents.

I just lost ...

These will be sold to other thugs/thieves. They'll never make their way to eBay. The thieves have no idea of the value of many of these, as knife collecting is a rather obscure and niche hobby. They're being sold for a few dollars underneath bridges and in abandoned buildings.

' = feet, " = inches.

The best knife for self protection is the one you have on you when you need it.

I'd suggest a can of pepper spray instead. There are so many scenarios where a person protecting themselves with a knife can be held liable in criminal and civil court. Being a young person has ...

No it's not. Acknowledging that racism exists does not mean we support or condone it.

Ask any of your friends who are minorities if they feel they get extra attention from law enforcement simply because of their ethnicity. Racial profiling is real.

I know this was light-hearted but it's a ...

Isn't there enough China-made crap in our lives? It's nice to look down and see "Golden Colorado, Earth" on something instead of "Made in China" like everything else. Remember, a few cents of every dollar goes to the Chinese military industrial complex and Communist party.

I have that SOG Twitch, the XL, and I just never carry it. My left-handed Military or Chinook 3 always find their way into my pocket over it.

The flipper seemed like a good idea, but there's actually quite a lot of resistance on the blade, and I like the fluid feel of a traditional liner lock ...
