IMO one of the nicest forums out there. Some of my others hobbies are wrought with people lookin to kick up dust. I spent quite a bit of time on a bonsai forum and quit there due to flaming. A Bosnai forum for Pete's sake.

Loose D3 clip

Anyone have any advice regarding a loose D3 clip? I know Ive seen this discussed but I can't find anything on it.

I've considered a light glue but am not sure if anyone has tried this.

Can we start a thread asking if anyone has ever been in a theater with a movie going and OC caninsters going off and a guy putting rounds into the loads of people in the room? If so I'll go ahead and take the advice of that person. Beyond that I think anything that's not blessings (or the equivilent ...

"Micarta" is all I know so far. Being fairly ignorant of the material I'm not sure how I would know. I'm assuming canvas micarta may be rougher? The only micarta scaled knife I have is the ronin.

Also, you can try anso texturing them. I like it quite a lot, it gives tremendous grip, and on the double layered G10/Micarta, it also exposes the bottom layers for a cool pattern. Here's a link: http://jungletraining.com/forums/showthread.php?9702-How-To-Anso-Pattern

Also a great idea. I love ...

Roughing up micarta

I just ordered a Myerco Wharning and am wondering if anyone has ever tried to give a little more gription to micarta scales. That is my only beef w the ronin is that it's too slickery for me.I love the look of this knife and at $18 figured why not.
