Hi Dorfinator,

The sample that we showed was a hand made prototype. Tooling is just beginning. Once tooling is completed, then a production sample must be made and approved. Then we begin cutting parts. "Enthusiastic" makers often quote shorter times than is possible, IMO. I would guess by the end ...

So from the above statement I guess you'd consider the Spyderco Military and Gayle Bradley knives "light use" folders since they have the Michael Walker LinerLock®?

I've only been carrying and collecting knives regularly for almost two years. So I don't have a whole lot of experience nor am I an engineer so to speak. But what I have found, and this is entirely a personal opinion and has no scientific evidence to back it up, I have been favoring the frame lock ...

ok, I think the first gen looked nicer. but maybe the new is more practical for an edc since it looks slimmer. But improved ergonomics? doesnt look like it..

Ok, here's the big differences between first gen Para-Mili and the new Gen 2.

Tip down only carry on Gen 1.
Gen 2 clip has 4 positions ...

I want to pay via Paypal and Jeff asked me the way he's working it is to use your card then in the comment section of the order say you want to pay another way.

He said by doing it this way he can get the most accurate head count.

He said the card would not be officially charged or sent a paypal ...

Very nice indeed. I really like the Mosaic pins and lanyard hole. Wish I had the time, tools and skill.

Again nice job!

Call SFO (not you, but D'tor) - SFO manually uploads inventory to the website. There is usually more physical inventory on hand than what is shown online.

Until, of course, it runs out for real...but call...

I called late this afternoon and spoke with Ratchel and was told all gone. She did put ...

Did you only get the one blade? Nice piece of wood there, I think would look even better on one of blades with the more circular pattern.

I only purchased the one blade. My wife has not been too excited about my knife habit.

So I'm here at my dining room table and the wife asks if I'm going to ...

In the last couple months I've also wanted a Starmate. I've found and purchased both a PE and Combo edge models. I think around the $200 price range is what you're going to have to pay. Whether that's a fair price or not depends on how bad you want a Starmate.

The PE I purchased did not come with ...

My new Mule

I just got home from my normal week on work rotation and my Mule and handles arrived while I was away.

Here's a quick snap of the setup and included in the shot is a piece of burl wood I picked up from the blade forums link:
