Military S90V Carbon Fiber. However, I am getting more use out of my Micarta Dyad Jr right now.
Generous blade length without a super wide handle
Light weight for the size
Excellent texture on the scales
Very good edge retention

Stretch CF. Best EDC knife I've ever had:
- Perfect ergos for my hand
- Awesome ZDP-189 blade of the right length for me
- Peel-ply carbon fiber scales look and feel great
- Perfect fit and finish
- Great balance
- Incredibly smooth operation
- Thin so that it disappears clipped in my back pocket yet comfortable to use

PPT is in my pocket right now. Love the sculpted slightly curved handle.
Of the (approximately) 3" knives that I own, Sage is the lightest thinnest, Lil' Temp the sturdiest and most comfortable but the PPT seems a near perfect compromise. All three look great but the PPT is definitely the most aesthetically pleasing. The PPT is the best ergonomically whether gripped back or choked up.
My main alternate right now is my BG-42 Military.

Our reason is quite satisfied, in 999 cases out of every 1000 of us, if we can find a few arguments that will do to recite in case our credulity is criticized by someone else. Our faith is faith in someone else's faith, and in the greatest matters this is most the case.

I love the variety - something for everyone's tastes and needs!!!AJF wrote:What's interesting to me about this thread is that there is hardly a repeat of favorites so far. Speaks very well for Spyderco and their wide range of excellent product. Not to mention that I can't even pick a favorite from my own small assortment!

I try to carry my other knives (Striders, Sebenzas, many Spydercos) and I always come back to the Military PS G-10 S30V - I have several (I lose things occasionally) so I am not afraid to use it... it didn't cost a fortune (see above) so I have no problem with being afraid to 'mark it up a bit' - and so it ends up with 90% of pocket time... (the other 10% split between Para D2, PPT, and Manix 2)
oh... I have big 'paws' so smaller knives (re Lava, Kiwi, etc) kind of get lost in the grip (even though I think they are awesome knives...)

+1. This Manix is lighter than the regular Manix which is a plus, and I like the handle color too.mnaylo3 wrote:Manix 2 CTS-XHP...partially because I just got it and partially because it fits my hand like a glove. And I'm really liking XHP so far
Sage 1 would also be a nice knife were it not for the short handle which forces me to use to use the choil grip. My hand just feels cramped if I don't use the choil. It's a pity because otherwise the knife is perfect.

Right now it's my Persistence that I just got two days ago.
Why? Because I really wasn't expecting to like it as much as I do. I knew from all the reviews and from handling one that it was a good knife but I'm pretty much blown away by this thing.
It's almost as if someone who knows me very well made the knife just for me.
