Thanks for all your responses, I think I'll take all your advice send her in soon. @ASmitty, I would have to agree with you about the lockbar. When the knife is closed, the lockbar is sunk in more than my other spydies, as though the end of the lockbar has filed itself down from repeated opening/clo...

Delica lock

Heya guys, I've got my white sprint run Delica here, which I've carried for a few years now. For some reason, the lock has quit working. I have no idea what happened. When opening or closing the knife, the lockbar on the back never even raises up. No snap, or anything. I cleaned out the area where i...

In terms of what I would consider to be the most awesome thing Spyderco could ever release, it would be a beefed up Delica. Delica is the perfect edc knife IMO... so just make whats already great, better. Whether it gets the sebenza treatment with Ti, pivot bushings and a framelock OR the Para 2 tre...

You guys that a lubing that area are actually making it worse, not better. The best way to make it stick less is to get it as clean as possible. Take a q-tip dipped in acetone, or rubbing achocol, and clean the tang where the lock engages, and keep doing it till its spotlessly clean. By lubing the ...

Para 2's Compression Lock

Hey all, I've been edc'ing my Para 2 for a while now, and I am really enjoying this knife. But I have a question for the other Para 2 owners here regarding the compression lock. Do you guys sometimes find it a bit difficult to disengage the lock, to the point that its a bit painful on your finger? N...

Batman probably does have a Paramilitary 2 in his utility belt somewhere. I guess Robin got the old Paramilitary hand-me-down.

In regards to modifying your Paramilitary, you should check out this video on YouTube, of a guy who did this on his. It appears to have worked fine. His YouTube handle is "BLUNTRUTH4U". Part 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NnO19_1mziw Part 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ustOzLNT4Sk Ho...

Wow. I pre-ordered my s90v sprint a couple months ago. Yet, just a couple days ago I sent a letter to KnifeCenter asking for a cancellation due to funds being lower than I expected... but Ally notified me that my order had already been shipped and couldn't be cancelled. After reading through these t...

Paramilitary 2 Availability

Has there been any word on when dealers will receive more shipments of Para 2's? I wasn't able to buy one when this knife first released, but now that I can it seems everyone is sold out :(

Nutnfancy made a video proving VG-10's solid rust resistance. He left his ffg delica in the snow outside his tent all night, during a mountain hike.

I have the CF Stretch as well, and I'm not sure if my situation is really the same as yours or not. On mine, when I opened the blade there was an audible scratching sound, from the blade tang on the liner. All I did to remedy this though, was use the benchmade flush/blue lube on it, and let it sit f...

I'd have to give another recommendation for the Stretch 2. In my opinion it's the best folder Spyderco has produced. I have the carbon fiber version, but am considering getting the other 2 versions as well, just because I like it so much. Overall length is just right, it's smaller than an Endura, an...

I'll give another vote for VG-10. I do carry a ZDP CF Stretch as well, but I'm finding myself timid to use it on some things for fear of staining. I've never had any ZDP staining or rust or anything like that, its just the general opinion of its easy staining that keeps me from using it on everythin...

I'll second JD's opinions on FRN, its a great durable material. I've carried an Endura 2 for many years working in a warehouse. It's been scraped, dropped, thrashed, and severely abused because I once considered it my beater knife. But after resharpening the blade, and maybe replacing the pocket cli...

I little while ago I was flipping channels and caught a part of Anaconda on TV, which was horrible, but for the few min. I was watching it appeared that Ice Cube's character had a Delica in hand, not 100% sure though. Yup! If I remember correctly I think its an Endura, but don't quote me on that.. ...
