Spyderco Techno - 1 Hand Opening Issue

I just got a techno and it is impossible to open with 1 hand with just the thumb.

I own literally 50 Spydercos and this is a first.

Is anyone else having this problem?

What I did was I got my wife into knives herself.

I also let her have a purse collection.

I know that this is an expensive route, but it keeps us both happy.

Question:

What would you do if you lived in NJ?

2C:39-3; Apparently you need an explainable lawful purpose to get away with carrying anything besides a dagger/dirk/stiletto, auto, gravity, or balistic knife, which are flat-out illegal. Even then, as in most states, certain less-common knives ...

In my humble opinion, since you seem financial strapped, I would get the spyderco knives so that you can have fun using them.

In your case, I would only get the sebenza if you only wanted a safe queen. But no one really wants a safe queen.

I have been in your situation before and bought an ...

Any hidden benefits of a mid-lock?

This question is from my anticipation for the upcoming chaparral:

Is there a difference between a lock back and mid lock - other than where the lock is on the handle?

Thanks!

I know this is probably way too early to tell - but the future titanium versions - are they going to be full titanium scales or are they going to be half titanium and half something else like g10?

Thanks!

Pic request for a used, worn titanium sage.

Anyone have a picture of a handle of a nicely used sage titanium?

I wanted to see if I had any phobias on titanium handles.

Thanks!
