Re: where is Cliff Stamp?

I would much rather see a collaboration with Jim (ankerson), something chasing the ragged limit of edge retention.
I own one of Kyleys knives but I think a knife associated with Jim would have more appeal.
Plus, I think of Jim as the anti Cliff, and I am on that side of the fence.

Are they going to have the same steel? I am about to pay a big premium due to lack of patience. It seems like the really cool models are tricky to get. They never run out of vg10 delicas or enduras... I understand bread and butter but sometimes it is a little frustrating. Russ

One piece titanium handles are usually found on custom knives and sleipner steel is no AUS8 if you know what I mean. I got a deal from a supplier I buy often from so that price is a bit low but the strucural integrity offered by having one piece handle is not to be scoffed at.
I have dozens of ...

GB pivot screws...

Hi, just received a lnib Gayle Bradley with solid liners and texas stamp. It was perfect except when open the CF on one side clicked around the pivot screw on the clip side. Seeing screws on both sides confused me but I tightened both a bit and the clicking went away.
Now I see that it is off ...

I bought my Lionsteel SR-1 for 360$ NIB. I wanted a lionspy too but not for that kind of cabbage. The SR-1 has pushed my Umnumzaan out of my pocket as my favorite knife. The one piece titanium handle is a work of art. Russ

I got a plain edge solo with a stainless steel handle and a frn handled combo one in a trade recently. the stainless was in good shape and had a cute leather slip case. The combo edge one was rougher but pretty wel made. They are marked seki city and the stainless seems well made. I guess I am not ...

Kershaw's blurs have always reminded me of a folding muleteam. The grinds are not all the same geometry but they have many steels at a decent price.
I would be all over spyderco offering something like this. Russ

How tough are the aqua salts?

Hi, noticed they were discontinued and thought about grabbing one. I know they have a rat tail tang and wondered how hard people are using them?
Will they take batoning? Anyone have the handle let go on them?
I have an H1 and like the steel but prefer a full tang as a rule.
Also, anyone know why ...
