Re: Spyderco 2025 Lists: Delivered & Upcoming
I don't have a Smock and have never been totally smitten over it, but the micarta perked my ears up. 20CV is good, but not the most exciting steel out there. I have a week to talk myself into it, I guess.

Re: Lil Native LW… so much better than the normal lil native. Wish there was a spy27 or MC
It's so good. I'm selling my G10 Lil Native that does get a ton of use, but I can't get enough of the LW.
I don't even mind the steel so much, I just wish there were other FRN color options
. Salt yellow, Spy27 Blue, whatever! Black handle knives are so boring to me.

Re: KNIFECENTER EXCLUSIVE SHAMAN S90V DROP 238$
This is ridiculous. I never wanted a Shaman. They don’t fit my hand well. Yet when I read about this exclusive, I almost bought it…🙄
I've owned two Shamans... I really wanted one, but when I got it, it wasn't as perfect for me as I had imagined. About 6 months later, I tried again and got a ...

Re: Do you clean your micarta scales?
Depending on the texture and usage, micarta can sometimes get a little slimy feeling to me. Everyone once in a while, I'll just wash it with hot water and dish soap.
I typically end up using my folder for quick food cuts, so I tend to wash knives somewhat often anyway.

Re: Where the Heck Are the Lil' Native Lightweights?
I thought that the thin blade stock, I wasn't sure that was a used Magnacut thickness, but it looks like the Salt UK Pen Knife is the same.
I received mine today.
It fits my hand better than a Dragonfly.
The blade is slightly off-center, but doesn't rub against the scale. I suppose it's okay ...

Re: Where the Heck Are the Lil' Native Lightweights?
Got my Lil Native yesterday, and I'm really happy with it. A few comparison pics below.
It might be sacrilege here, but I'm not a huge Dragonfly fan. I have a Salt one that is tied to my paddle board PFD vest, and would replace that with a Salt Lil Native. The Native just feels better in the hand ...

Re: Where the Heck Are the Lil' Native Lightweights?
I realize that the first version of these aren't even out yet, but this eventually is going to make it to the Salt line, no?
It would replace the Dragonfly as the perfect little paddling pocket knife.

Re: Question about cleaning micarta
Hot water and dish soap works for me.
I'll usually rub the dish soap in with my fingers a little, add a splash of hot water to suds it up while rubbing, then rinse everything off and dry off with a towel.
It will dry out and look new in a few minutes.

Re: Bodacious first Sprint and exclusive?
I'm a fan of the model. But it's one of those knives that until you use it, you might not be as drawn to it And there are probably a lot of Shaman owners who realize that they don't often carry/need larger folders and aren't in a hurry to add another one.
It could benefit from an in-demand sprint ...

Re: Bodacious first Sprint and exclusive?
The KnifeJoker exclusive DLC Cruwear and Forest Green G-10 would probably be my favorite to hope for.
Knifecenter smooth black G-10 and satin Cruwear would be the second.
I have the regular s30v one and like it, but have always thought how perfect that Cruwear would be. I put micarta on mine to ...

Re: A peak behind the curtain at the Bodacious
As soon as I bought a Bodacious, I thought natural micarta would make it a great outdoors/camping folder. I knew it would look good, but this exceeded expectations.

Cool idea. Maybe put a pic of each of them in the thread (or a link to the post in the original thread for each one)? I know a couple off hand, but I'm too lazy to do any research
