Wow, solid week of entries here. Had to flip through the pages back and forth quite a few times just to make a decision.

This is just a very simple photo but extremely pleasing to look at. Nice capture Rival22, I like this one. Grabbed my eye right away.
A knife I'm not specifically into myself, but the photo itself like an ad to make it appealing to the viewer anyway.
(Sidenote: If they do the Bodacious in a "Crucarta", I think it would really get that model out there into more hands.)

Wow, so who figured a trainer would get picked for a mention? Cool as an alternative, and I'd guess the sort of color arrangement you probably don't see often on a knife page, just being that most people go for a rugged tough tool look, but it's good to have variety.

Also just to mention, Nestor, that photo had me looking back as well, also a unique capture, made that blade look like a sword from that angle! And that subtle swedge on the spine of that G10 Police is kind of something I wish we'd see more often on some models.

Awesome work to everyone else, some tough choices, I could comment on all of them but I won't. Thanks for submitting.
Let's get another week started!

Thank you! *takes a bow*

Winning even on a light week feels good as there are some incredible pictures on this thread, and some talented photographers. I like the colors in @Mrj's pic!

I just got the scales and set the knife down on my messy work bench and it looked good in that lighting. So, I cleared a spot and took a few pics (a couple others in the "peek behind the curtain at the Bodacious" thread viewtopic.php?p=1819720#p1819720).

I found one of these old dried blossoms totally encased in ice. It inspired me as such things always do, to put a knife on it and take a picture. =P

Hi All,

You guys/girls are very good. Imagination, material selection, model selection and photographic skill.

So I put it to a group of staff if any have the time and interest to get all or most of the pictures in this thread, get them collected and printed into a pamphlet of some kind. I needed a "Driver" for the project to carry it from beginning to completion. They also had to work with staff and you guy to figure out the best thing to do with them? I'm please to say that Kristi volunteered to Drive the project. I believe that she will do very good job. Please work with her help make it happen?

Thanx much

Would this be a 'per year' or multi-release photo pamphlet so it could continue in future years also?

I originally thought of this as an addendum to the calendar or to byte, but a separate publication is also interesting. Whichever method is used, it would be nice to have a downloadable digital version of it.

Having some as 'sets' of computer wallpapers would also be very cool. On the Windows desktop, the wallpapers have a little 'info' icon that can be clicked to get more information about the photo. Especially for some of the less well known or discontinued Spyderco models, it would be nice to learn more about the knife that is featured. The MacOS desktop doesn't have that info icon, but can still cycle through a folder of images. Some of the excellent photos here would make a nice change from the nature photos I usually look at.

Dan, that is an awesome shot right there, I have tried to capture a few pix that would have been a great shot, but they come out looking like the hair that's in the butter lol.

You're amazing...

Thanks guys ! I have been testing two different brands of wax for knives . Only way I thought was to use Salt models and leave outside in a wet rainy environment. The Stretch sat outside for around an hour before the shot . Feel more comfortable now applying this wax on for example Cruwear knives when the weather is nasty for an extended time . Dan
