I've been pleased with Goodr and Kirkland Signature (Costco). Both are polarized and ~30 dollars.
For prescription, the best pair I've ever had was Transitions Drivewear. Extremely pricey but excellent lenses.

Re: What "Other" is in your pocket???
what's the slide made out of? I had the standard black and had to get a replacement slide from ruger it rusted so bad on mine. ended up retiring it and replacing it with a S&W BG2.
It's a stainless slide. The 75th Anniversary edition was the cheapest I could find and included that slide and ...

The Sebenza hasn't left my pocket since blade show. I'm late to the party, but it has redefined what a knife could be for me. It is a true one and done type of tool.

Working on my biscuit skills. They didn't look great on a uniformity front, but sure tasted good.

Re: Blade Show 2025
This will be my second year attending. The highlight for me last year was the prototype cabinet and chatting with Eric a bit, even though I'm certainly not a conversationalist.
I'm looking forward to checking out the prototypes again, as well as being more intentional with my time to handle some ...

Re: Favorite pocket gun?
I'm newer/younger in the gun world and my only pocket gun is a Ruger LCP Max (75th anniversary edition). It's size has sidelined any other larger guns I have - pop it in the pocket and off I go, no need for belt, large holster, etc.
It is occasionally finicky with the range ammo I've had, but has ...

Re: The Last Gun You Bought
The P320 won the last military trials over Glock and FN.
Probably on the wrong forum to ask, but...on what points did the P320 win over Glock and FN? Or was that level of detail given?
My understanding is a combination of Sig aggressively underbid on price (>$100m) and Glock didn't do much ...

Re: The Last Gun You Bought
The RXM is on my "to buy" list to replace my PSA Dagger (for a multitude of reasons). The grip interchangeability, optics cut style, Glock ecosystem, and price are a big draw to me as a value driven consumer. Glocks are a known good, but the value just isn't there compared to many other guns, and ...

G-Shock GD400DN-4. It's been with me for almost 10 years and through much abuse has only needed 1 battery and a (elective) new strap due to staining.

Just returned from a range trip with the LCP Max. I shot it with and without the pinky extension for ~150 rounds of mostly FMJ with some JHP mixed in for function testing. It is a fun little shooter and I would've continued to shoot were it not for ammo prices. I will likely contact ...

Re: The Last Gun You Bought
I rented a Bodyguard 2.0 last week and was impressed with how well it shot. That being said, I'll likely buy a LCP Max instead because they're nearing $200 for the 75th anniversary edition. Different ballpark of price for me, even if less pleasant to shoot.

Re: What's your go-to carry when you can't decide?
These days whatever is in my pocket from the day before tends to stay there. Mostly a Leatherman Curl.
If a Spyder, almost always the M2LW in BD1N. Cuts well, lightweight, and sharpens up in a snap. Second to that would be a Teal Endura in S30V.

Not the usual around here, but, it's what I got going. Nice transition between the two tracks and mix of high energy and story telling (especially reincarnated).
