Also, usually no matter what the locking system, snapping/forcefully opening the blade greatly increases wear on the knife frame components, including the locking surface on liner/frame locks and back-locks.

However, within a few days - probably not too big a deal, just the blade might be moving a ...

Yojimbo is a great knife, but I happen to prefer longer blades on my handles (despite being a Para fan).

Also, put your thumb all the way up the blade (removing the "space" between thumb and handle). You can really work the blade well in this grip.

If at all possible, a SS framelock coupled with a polished and "lightly rounded" dark blue G-10 scale would be awesome.

Good design, but do you find you get as much leverage (maybe unnecessary) as you would with a more vertically oriented edge (no negative blade angle) - or is the more intuitive control of the point granted by the negative blade angle more important in your testing?

I've always thought it looked interesting, but unfortunately I suspect it has the same issues that I had with the Dodo - very short blade for a very wide footprint and handle (great ergos though) and, in this case, a somewhat obtuse grind (no more so than a Native or a Delica in all probability ...

Black ZDP Lum Chinese, grab it before price will go though the roof.
Ditto.

Great, GREAT knife for slicing/cutting/etc.

Not that great for the typical mild prying, hard cutting, or even batoning, but for food prep and just out-cutting most other knives...

I'm very intrigued by Lum's Chinese ...

The way Sebenzas are finished they are not slippery at all IMO. They are Ti on both sides and very grippy even when wet.
Hmm... I wouldn't necessarily say that. The beadblast does help, but it gets fairly slippery once you get it wet with stuff other than water (i.e. blood, oil, etc).

Even the ...

Spyderco is a company that follows the maxim, "form follows function" in perhaps its purest form of any of the major knife companies.

The description of the Spydercos as "Glocks" of the knife world is very apt - a complete innovation of the modern ...

You will definitely need a fob for the spin if you like having full grips on your knives...
However, for the size, there's nothing better I've seen, though I think I'd prefer the Jester if it had better steel.

Any mod you do to your knife simply makes it makes the police notice it more.... and question why you did such a thing. In regards to quick, sure opening, I think extracting the folder, using it as an impact tool or concealed as necessary, then opening normally works.... or if you must open as ...

Nothing beats the Dodo for a good small EDC..... the handle is flat, but wide, so it doesn't handle too well in the front pocket (in a carpenter pocket along the leg would fit well).
I personally found the Yojimbo a very poor EDC, I suppose for a purely defensive knife it would work fine, but felt ...
