One of the best reviews I read, definitely! :)

I used to be strictly Caly guy, but since I got myself Delica 4 SS - I finally learned to love that much acclaimed Spyderco's bestseller.

And today I got an email from NGK that my ZDP Delica is on the way...

Happy happy, joy joy! :D

Great topic! :)

My current fixed outdoor and camping knives are SR Camp Tramp and Fallkniven F1. Always carry them both, CT for chopping and all the hard work and F1 for finer work, whittling, food-prep etc.

F1 is great, but Spyderco bushcraft knife of that size could be even better! Here what I ...

It isn't big at all. I was really surprised when I saw that picture. It seems he has very small hands. Caly's handle simply disappears in my medium-sized hand.

Resist buying some other knife, not MiniManix! :D

Manix 83mm is a TANK, my favorite HEAVY-DUTY folder, no question about that. :)

I've got big Manix too, a little too big for me... 83mm version is perfect!

My Delica 4 SS has PB washers. You can check that through clip screw holes using good flashlight. ;)

I would really, really like to see a bolstered verison. I would probably go for any handle material if its bolstered but blue or black for color would be preferable (an exotic wood would be cool to).
Personally, I don't care for bolstered knives with fancy expensive materials...

Functional IS ...

I like both steels. Voted VG-10 because I mostly EDC knives with that steel. (Delica 4 SS or Caly)

Mini Manix is my favorite Spyderco (until Caly 3 arrives), but that is because of the design, not the steel. S30v holds great edge, but I'm a bit worried that it could chip - so I don't use it that ...

I like D4 MUCH more than D3.

I never owned D3, but I handled it in the shop - it looked too pointy and less attractive (FRN verson) than Caly Jr., which was flat-ground, drop point, classier looking etc. I actually liked SS verson, but it wasn't ambidextrous and steel wasn't that good ...

Zerileous, I'm a lefty and I love Calypso Jr. too.

Recently, I got myself Delica 4 SS and it instantly became my new EDC. Reasons why I like it that much you can read here - in my first post on this forum!

I love SCUBA diving but I don't like regular diver's knives. So, I would like Spyderco H1 utility fixed knife: 4' blade, full tang, bright colored g10 scales (something like Bark River's blaze orange), full-grip handles, kydex sheaths with multiple carry options.

Great! I love liners + G10, and low carry wire clip. But, I would prefer UKPK's bigger hole and full screw construction.

Anyway, this WILL be my favorite Spyder! :)
