It depends...
Rocktead Knives are in Zdp189 steel too. You can see a guy chopping bambous then slicing sheets of paper without problem in their website.

Will this be a carry knife? I understand he considers his knives workers, not just safe-queens.

It is a big knife (same size as a mini manix but lighter) but I will carry it easily. It is a "folding fixed blade", built like a tank  It's very very sharp. It's like if it was a Chris Reeve ...

Cheers,

It cuts like a laser of course.
The weight is 143grams, 199mm opened (like a manix 83mm), so It's a pretty big knife but easy to carry !

some news from a guy on KF (the tourist) :

I just got off of the telephone with Kevin/Spark.

The entire server has to be replaced. It is an expensive endeavor, and as you can guess, Kevin is very unhappy about financing a long-term project that does him little if any good.

The Deacon wrote:The little damasteel FB is beautiful. Question on the folder. The lockbar does not seem to be fully engaging the blade tang. In fact only seems about halfway on it. Is that just the angle of the photo?
Yeah that's right ! but It's enough and it's rock solide.
