Hopefully it's just down for maint. I know the Outdoors-Magazine forum was recently hit by a hacker, luckily they had backups to restore the forum.

there is a LOT of data and such in there, if they are doing maintenance its gonna be a chore!

there arent any serious new VBulletin upgrades [ I know this for sure ;) ] so maybe theyre doing backups and stuff.

The host of BF is http://www.1sks.com. That site seems to be up and when you call the info line, the recording seems like business as usual.

I suspect a major server crash and/or hacker got to it.

Actually, there is a vicious rumor circulating that it is the Triffids.

Yeah, they have invaded and taken Ren as their sex slave(we can only hope he has found a way to end his own life)and when it reopens if you post anything that does not have to do with drugs or candy you will be banned.

Hi Ron!
What a shameless attempt at goading LaBella into plugging the Jerzee Devil Forums DOH!! Fooled again!! :D

Oompa-Loompas, The Burger King King, puppets, triffids - the list of suspects is long. The investigation continues. Spark is persuing all viable leads and should have Cougar operating the mind control machine at full power 'ere long.

That will enrage Gay Manatee......I wouldn't want an infuriated her/it/him on my case!!!

When manatees the pirates viewed
Methinks their eyes were slightly skewed
“Sirens seaborne! Mermaids!” they stated
A description slightly overrated…
Then hid the sea-cow, manatee, dugong
That is until Ren swam along
Said Ren whilst stroking manatee
You really look just fine to me’
Enthralled by what he’d heard just then
Manatee knew he must have Ren
‘Tis why with lust and no decorum
He chases Ren across our forum

Manatee will not rest 'til Ren is safe.

Image

The Manatee signal is lit!!!

Looks like the Manatee was able to attach explosives to the bottom of the Wonka boat after it got into the cove.Need to have some divers go down on the floor of the Cove to get pics of the boat with the full crew of Ompas.Lets just hope that the master mind Wonka was on board with them and that the Manatee got Ren off safe. One thing is for sure,if Ren made it out he will renew his war on the Ompas with extreme prejudice.

Do you think that means the data was incorrectly corrupted, as opposed to being properly corrupted? :D

The general consensus seems to be the introduction of cigarettes and porn mags first then beer from Dad's frig second...but some states prefer to reverse the order unless of course the cigarette exceeds three inches. If that occurs it must be concealed until the data is at least 18 megabytes in length.

I can't get on BF at all. It was down for a while and then it was up but now it seems down again.

I am getting those random e-mails but I don't know what they are. I have opened a few before I realized what was happing and I think that is why my computer is slowing down so much.

some news from a guy on KF (the tourist) :

I just got off of the telephone with Kevin/Spark.

The entire server has to be replaced. It is an expensive endeavor, and as you can guess, Kevin is very unhappy about financing a long-term project that does him little if any good.
