Ceya's Recurve FB and folder

#1

Post by ceya »

I was holding out on these and didn't want to show them.

This has been designed over a 1 1/2 ago (folder). Dialex did the art for me. I am doing different prototypes and have a good ideas in what i am going to do with these. It will be as a set.

I would like to thank Dialex and Daywalker.
Thank you!

For some of my new stuff I am going in house(CKE and Butch).

CKE apologize for my lateness in getting my stuff to you and Butch the NCO design is looking good.

If we get each other to work together we can improve on our techniques.

What r your thoughts?

CEYA!

Can this be moved?

I was rushing to post and put in the General instead of Off Topic.

looks sweet Ceya and Dialex!!! I'd get one of each for sure!....the only thing I would want changed.....would be for the jimping to be removed from above the hole Only in the Folder but the Fixed looks Fine as is!....i'm sure the jimping enhances the Function of the knife ...but it just looks aesthetically unpleasing to my eye .....but all in all 2 very Cool knives!

Sign me up! While a fan of flat ground blades, I am feeling Spyderco is somewhat skimping on the hollow grinds and it would be nice to have a larger folder. It appears G10 and CPM-S30V which makes me smile. I like the recurved blade. It looks like you have the large SpyderHole and as said, the only thing I would reccomend would be to move the jimping.

What is the size of this bad boy?

Looks very nice! We don't actually see many recurve Sypdercos around here, do we? Actually, the only one that comes to mind is the Spyker.

Looks great! I also especially like the FB. Info on the length (overall and blade) and weight would be appreciated.

No, I am not making only one. I will get one and Dialex.

Once he approves and all is good then others will be made.
Just like the Dialex's Komondor.

The comment about all is mine is the Recurve folder is a Ceya Knife Design project.

Hi Ceya, I also thank you for the project. It was fun and instructive to work at it :) Good luck with your knives, they really deserve to be made for real.
Thanks everyone for watching and for the comments.

I like that Recurve folder, Ceya.

Yea, I remember that Gentle Bug...I really liked it. Bring it on for all of us.

I agree ! :)

And the design is very near from a famous french knifemaker model, Alain Descy's Resquiou :
