If your going to cheat, at least attempt to use some creativity.

I'm glad there was a mule left for me.

Need some paracord and a sheath now :)

edge thickness and hardness?

Poked around here and bladeforums, but I couldn't find where the edge thickness or hardness was posted.

Does anyone have this information?

Thanks.

Spot is now under 26 with shipping. If this free shipping code works the grand total is 19.86 :)

Thanks for thread and the direct link to Spyderco products!

I think I emailed NGK in January and that was to late to get any of the ZDPs. It seems like the Delica ZDP was delayed for about a year which is adding to the craziness.

I wonder what the odds are of scoring a ZDP Jess Horn or Lum when they come out?

At least I did get a collector delica and ...

I just received a waved delica and endura today. I'm not a collector, but the knives are both numbered. Probably a number that nobody is using right now.

The color of the handles looks like a dark grey-blue. The wave delica is really nice compared to my "old" generation 3 delica.

The endura will ...

I would be willing to bet there is not an equal distance between the liners on the anvil and spacer pins. The distance between liners is probaby smaller on the anvil pin side and that is causing the knife to be pinched.

Measure with dial calipers, it doesn't take much of a difference to greatly ...

I have a delica 3 and a paramilitary. The para is a great knife with killer ergonomics. It isn't heavy either. Great blade shape and steel.

It is quite thick though and limited to tip down carry only. There is a lot of knife sticking out of your pocket when it is tip up in my opinion.

I've ...

I don't see a need for a knife this small with the other products already in the spyderco lineup. How many small knives do you really need?

I'd would be willing to pay $135 - $145 for a special edition Para, but it would have to have tip up carry!

I would also appreciate it if somebody would post the wally world UPC code.

I've been to three different walmarts in central IL and have had no luck. I have a feeling they might have the native somewhere, but have not yet updated their knife poster.

I've taken my Para apart a few times (lost both the washers too) and noticed that blade can get off centered if the spacer and anvil pins are not equally tight. I think if you take it apart you might void the warranty though. The compression lock is a pretty cool design.

IPSC: I think that is exactly the point here. Every competitor of Spyderco is of course free to charge Spyderco's trademark claim, and if it is decided that the trademark of the hole should be revoked, then everybody is free to use it.
But that is not what is happening. Instead, you get armchair ...

I am not a lawyer either, but you are missing the point, or one of them anyhow. It would be a matter of a competitor having to prove that a ROUND hole had significant functional advantage over an hole of any other shape. Example - the shape of a Coke bottle is trademarked. One can argue that the ...

Sometimes when I'm sharpening VG-10 I get a sharp edge that will slice paper, but one that will not shave or get scary sharp. not so simple

This is an interesting read:

http://library.findlaw.com/2001/Apr/1/133329.html

In fairness to the Sixth Circuit, in holding that the spring design was not functional, they relied upon the Supreme Court's (apparent) restrictive language of what is "functional" in the 1995 Qualitex decision ...
