Awesome knives. I just got done sharpening my Bowie. I brought the edge down to a 20/20 polished razor sharp edge (on the flats of the white stones). BM and spyderco have different niches. Spyderco has better steel and stronger construction(Spyderco's handles and locks are simpler,thus making them more "murphy proof") while BM features stronger locks(axis) and better fit and finish (assuming we are talking about mid range knives).
