Are you referrring to a Strider PT? I have one, and I LOVE it. It is a tough, tough, kick *** knife, that is sheeple friendly. I love the G-10 & Ti. I highly recommend this knife, and any Strider for that matter.

Hi Friz -

Quality is good. Better then I expected from all the stories about Striders fit & finish. Lock-up was about 20% - less then I expected, but it hold ups good. The shape fitted my hand well. Good solid (but rough & sharp) grip.
It was not really sharp, but that was easy to fix. Blade was not centered, and one washers does not completely touch the scales, but it opens and closes well, and lock-up is solid. Also the G-10 scales is not 100% aligned with the Ti scales, you can feel the G-10 sticking out just a tiny bit.

As you might have seen, I also got my micarta inlay small Sebenza recently.
Handling a new Sebbie again proved for me that the fit & finish & manufacturing quality of Chris Reeve is absolutely top and Strider or any other manufacturer I know of does not even come close.

Everything on the Sebbie is perfect. Lock-up is 50%, action, blade centering, line-up of the scales & micarta inlay, all 100%.

When you compare them, both have S30V blades. Both have good ergo's. The small classic Sebbie with the micarta inlay gives a very solid grip. The PT also has good grip, but might not feel comfortably if you're really gripping and working hard.

The Sebbie is $400, the PT is $300.

An S30V Spyderco Native is $60...

The sebbie is as perfect a knife as you could want.
The PT is a tough & expensive little blade.
I'll be using both and don't regret the purchases.

Did this help? (probably not??!) sorry...

badlands need to be used in Internet explorer, It doesent work without a workaround in Firefox or Opera.

You can also just search for "Mad Dog"

By all means buy a strider, they probrolly are great knives. I just dont understand them.

They have a entire community buildt on Honor and Integrity.

But Mick is a felon Thief.

You tell me how that works.

But hey the whole community is on their Knees.

Only Sane people ate Jimmy Dean and Samo.

I am sure they are great strong knives as they claim.

Im just turned off by the people who seem to be Alchoholics and the community.

Yeah, but I dont think anyone gives a f*ck if he has a record. Lots of people commit crimes during there life. Jaywalk? You are a Criminal. Enter a website or phone conversaition you do not have permission to? you are a criminal. Lie about someone? You are a criminal. Find a wallet and keep the cash in it? You are a criminal. Threaten someone (even a veiled threat)? You are a criminal. Cheat on you income tax? You are a criminal.

Lots of people are criminals. Just that a lot dont get caught. I dont give a **** if Mick stole a car. Everyone makes mistakes in there life. At least he admits it. Look at all the b*tches who get away with stuff because they got relatives "on the force*" or prominent families, politician friends, etc.

*no offence to LEOs on this board,, as 99.9 percent are good hard working people. Its the .1 percent that bug me.

Its all crimes. At least his was out in the open. Think of all the b*tches who commit crimes behind closed doors, or under a veil of immunity.
