Military for sure.

Good blade size and great handle makes it the most vesatile knife I've seen. This knife is always on me and my "the one" knife.

btw, i'm fairly certain the supposed change from 'military' to :spyder: never happened. these are just from proto-pictures from the catalog and such.

or, do you actually HAVE one that does the :spyder: on it?

Yes Denn I kid you not its in front of me right now as i type and yes it has a small ...

yeah mine has a S30V blade so i guess i have the normal pivot, I still wonder about the change from Military on the blade to just the :spyder: symbol.

BTW did anybody else have a "stain" of sorts on the blade in the outline of the g-10 handle when you first got it?

Thanks for all the info.

Milie questions and praise

Hello all

I just recieved my new millie and love it, its is my new edc and my favorite knife. :)
I thought it was cool at first but it was the great reviews and posts on this forum that finally pushed me to get it. ;)

I was wondering when exactly did spyderco stop marking the blade as Military ...

For heavy sheeple use, nothing works quite as well as a 'pretty' little folder like the SS Dragonfly. It has a similar profile to your Military. I use mine as a back-up folder for public use. Sorry, you are lookingfor info to make life easier, not harder, I apologise :p

Well true a ...

Thanks for the info, I had been to your site a few times love the info and the pics; dont think i had seen the yojimbo though.

Well actually the folder I choose will just back up the Military, and only really be used when i feel that useing a knife with a blade length as big as the milie in a heavy ...

Para vs. Yojimbo

Well fellow spydie nuts i have come to a rather difficult problem.
I have done the research, have checked the different reviews and am still confused.

So I ask those who have handled them:

Which Spyderco knife is better, the Para or the Yojimbo?

Which is best for edc?
Which has a better blade ...

My resolutions this up coming year are:
1) To spend more time with my family
2) to finally learn to drive
3) to actually start working out and loose weight
4) and to buy one Spyderco knife a month

Happy New Year and thanks for the chance at the resolution lottery :)

I personally use a method sorta like Senate's comp lock reverse, except i use the ring finger to open the blade without haveing to flick it down. Makes it easier for me to open it in front of a "threat" without them knowing anything and barely hearing the click. ;)

I'm pretty sure any other method ...

hmm... I hadnt thought about vertical blade play. I wonder how much "wear" is needed before its noticeable. I tend to open and close my edc knife literally hundreds of times a day (nevous/bored habit). I have had my native III for about a month now, and have noticed it has already devoloped an odd ...

I forgot to ask about that knife, I've researched a few of the spyderco knives.
never saw anything like that.

Then again as Spyderknut said "I don't think this knife exists (yet)"
