Sharpmaker Ultrafine stones...

I have just received the Sharpmaker Ultrafine stones by special order. They are white like the fine stones. How am I sure they ordered the correct ones? Is there any way to tell?

Thanks,
Burt :)

Your in Montreal, there should be a LeBaron near you. They should have the med. and fine stones, you can order the diamond from them and they will get them with their next Spyderco order. Thats what I did through the Mississauga store (Ultrafine stones).
You could have bought the Delica there too ...

What is the difference between paracord and climbing rope? Is one better for lanyards that the other?

Thanks!

So you lost 2 Rescues to them earlier this month and you expect the Delica to make it through???
I am going to assume NOT!

However the paint stripper had no effect on both pieces of the mounting hardware (i.e., the screw and the sleve it 'screws into'. So to remove the paint I utilized sandpaper and I am very please with the results.

The screws are not painted, they are plated. That is why you had to sand the coating ...

LeBaron's is having a "no tax" sale this week and has just recently dropped the prices on many Spyderco models. I'm going tomorrow. CKE, you're right, I am now fully involved... :D

Spyderco rocks!
Called up the warranty dept. (talked to Amanda) and described how and where I bought the knife and the problem and they are sending me out a new screw no charge.
Not even the original owner and they still honour the warranty, very impressed.

Up in Canada I have not seen a Dodo in a retail store (other than mail order) so I saw this one on EBay, the guy was near where I work, and I picked it up for $60 CAD. It is supposed to be brand new (and looks it), but I think I got slightly taken. He must have busted the clip off it before and ...

Dodo clip ambidextrous?

Hey there,

First post on the forums! Yeehaaaa!

Anyway, I am relatively new to the Spyerco knives, my EDC is an Endura since the early summer.

I just happened on a Dodo today and grabbed it due to its compact shape and good feel, and its supposed right/left carry (I'm a lefty). The problem is that ...
