OP, that 50% looks to be off msrp. It's a nice gesture from Spyderco, but that's not that great of a deal when you throw in the shipping.

My work knife is fairly consistent. My "going out" knife could range from a UKPK to a Military, just however I feel at the time.

I think the back lock version may be more to do with the original than people just not liking the CBBL.
